Men's Rain Defender Relaxed Fit Lightweight Jacket

5/5 Stars Have had the jacket for at least 7+ months. It's a very great jacket. Not only does it look very nice, but it also serves its purpose when it rains. Very lightweight just as described. Definitely worth the price in my opinion. I've put it through the washer several times and it still repels rain amazingly good. No complaints here.

I purchased this jacket for my nephew, he loves it. He thinks it is comfortable and fits him nicely. It isn’t heavy but protect from rain; in Oregon, our weather has been mild this winter, so a heavy winter jacket is unnecessary. However, he can wear a hoodie under this jacket for extra warmth. My nephew is 6’2” and 212lbs. He has very long arms and a long torso. The XL Long fits him perfectly!

Greatest rain jacket I own. Has pockets - is just like a jacket , and not made of that horrible material. Can use it as a windbreaker - outside layer in the cold - or as a rain jacket. Really a great jacket highly recommend - durable too - I use it for work almost every day.

literally just got this handed to me by the delivery driver and ripped it open so fast. i’m so impressed by the quality of this jacket, not only the material it’s made of and both how light and sturdy it feels, but also the zipper looks like it’ll never catch and get messed up. super easy to zip and unzip very smoothly. i feel like this should have cost way more than i paid, so value is definitely awesome here. pockets are large and looks like they can hold a good bit of stuff. overall it looks amazing and i can’t wait to gift this to my dad for christmas!

Got the 3xl tall because I'm 5'11 and 250 lbs. (Dad bod) Jacket fits good, but is extremely thin. Not as long as my 3xl tall tees, but long enough. Durability is 50/50 due to the thinness. Walking in it sounds like shwish shwish. Pockets are pretty big. Definitely carry your lunch. Hood is good. Solid color is a plus.

Best Jacket I’ve owned hands down

This has quickly become my husband's favorite light-weight jacket. He's almost 6'5", and the XLT fits him perfectly. It's not easy to find a jacket that is the right length with the proper arm length. It provides protection against the rain, but you will get wet if the coat gets saturated. The inside of the coat and hood have a stretchy mesh lining. The sleeves have a solid lines. The front of the coat has two upper pockets. The interior of the pockets are roughly 6" x 4 1/2" and close with 2 snaps. (My husband's Galaxy Note 5 in the case will not fit in these pockets. He has to use the interior pocket.) The left side pocket has a place where you can feed your headphones wires through it into the interior of the jacket. There are also two generous side (hand) pockets that close with 1 snap. There is one roughly 7" x 6" interior pocket that closes with velcro. The bottom of the jacket can be pulled in snugly against the body using the drawcord. The hood also has a drawcord that can be adjusted on either side of the hood. The cuffs have two snaps, so it can be adjusted for different size wrists. The jackets shell is 100% nylon. The body lining and hood is 100% polyester. The sleeve lining is 100% nylon. The jacket is made in Cambodia.

I have a few Carhartt products and they all are my go-to items for certain weather/work conditions. I bought this light weight rain jacket to take on a trip to Seattle, and it was perfect. Easy on and easy off, and light enough to easily shake the rain off before entering the house. And the hood fits unusually well. I may have lucked out and found the perfect form factor for my head, but without even tuning it, it securely stays on my head without blocking my peripheral vision when I turn. I love Carhartt products and look forward to discovering a need to buy something else that they make. I liked it so much that my wife bought a slightly different model, and she loves hers too. Kudos to Carhartt!
