Engine Camshaft Alignment Locking Timing Tool Kit Compatible with BMW Mini Cooper N12 N14 Citroen Peugeot N16 Engines, with Carrying Case & Gloves

I used this for my 2013 Mini Cooper base model. I hesitated to purchase this -it's a one time use sort of thing and I didn't have ready access to rent one close to me. It worked perfectly for me with easy installation, locking the camshaft snugly and solidly. I did find instructions lacking but googling and youtube can help you with this. After changing the timing chain and guides, removing the locking tool was easy, and the engine started up with no problem, and runs very sweetly. If you are an enthusiastic and careful amateur mechanic with limited financial resources, this tool is great value and will pay for itself the very first time you use it. But just be well versed in what you are getting into, and the possible downsides.

It was delivered ride on time for me to do the job and the tool worked perfectly and they gave me bonus gloves to boot......very reasonable and a must if you ave a mini.

Worked perfectly for a '14 Mini Cooper S with the N18 engine. No complaints here. It will go on the cupboard of tools to be used again in the future. Well done.

Everything needed to change your timing chain on a R55+ and more. This is a great buy at the price where others can charge you up to 200. for these needed tools when changing a timing chain.I have a 2011 Mini Cooper S and Im sure there are more models this kit can accomidate. Although it comes with no instructions this wont hinder its use. You can always go on Youtube.com. I highly recommend this product.

Tool did what it needed to. I used one years ago and had to grind off some material for it to slide over my cam BUT this toll fit perfectly.

Works well ,gets the job done however one of the locking tools must be modified to work. If you have your turbo removed no modifications are needed. Other than that it works very well

With most modern cars you need to buy the special alignment tool when doing timing work. I was hesitant to purchase a non big name tool. The ones from the tool truck or dealer level are so expensive though. I figured give this a try. It worked for me. Did the job that it needed to do. Everything fits in it's case for storage. I use a label maker to label the end of the case and stack it with the other ones. Save some money and use this one.
