Large size bread bin
This bread bin looks nice and is large enough to hold more than just the one loaf of bread. The lid is hinged and just lifts up. I chose a cream colour but other colours are available. Would definitely recommend.

Very 1950's retro...
This is a good looking, retro design bread store that stands out in the kitchen. I've lost count of the number of people who have commented on the look of the bin. Very well made piece of kitchenalia, everything just fits perfectly. There are ventilation holes at the back of the breadbin to enable air to circulate and prevent any bread stored from going mouldy too quickly. Certainly in our usage so far bread in this bin last around 2-3 days longer than in our other breadbin. The only real downside is that you can't get more than a decent sized loaf in it. For keeping it clean and looking good all I've done is wipe it inside and out with a damp cloth and then towelled it dry. Both the internal and external surfaces are well painted, but there are a couple of areas; particularly around the vent points, where the seams may be exposed. For this price you'd expect it to be a well made quality product and this certainly delivers.

Big and solidly made...
At this price point you'd hope for something sturdier and more stylish than your average bread bin and this KitchenCraft Lovello Bread Bin pretty much delivers. It's really quite large and the boxy shape means that it creates a good amount of useable storage for its footprint. You can get one of the biggest sliced loaves in here with room leftover for some rolls or scones too. It's an all-metal construction apart from the plinth (and maybe the letters on the front) which is chromed plastic. The metal is a thicker grade than many bread bins, with what seems to be a double layer bottom plate and it all feels quite sturdy and avoids being tinny - it will dent if you're not careful but it'll be tougher than most. The Latte Cream paint finish is almost matte and applied to every visible surface, inside and out. It's recommended you don't wash it, at least not by fully immersing it, and I assume that's because the metal used is ferrous and there might be grooves or seams where water could collect. It's reasonably seam and groove free inside so tipping out the crumbs and giving it a wipe over occasionally isn't that big of a problem. The lid has a row of small ventilation holes running along the back edge so things should never get too sweaty inside, but the lid isn't airtight either so it should be fine. I must admit the word 'BREAD' in big plastic (?) letters doesn't add much for me and I'd prefer it without that but that's my only gripe - well that and the rather high price.

Big and good quality
I didn't imagine it would be so big, but it's a great bread box. It's spacious, good quality and good value for money.

Damaged
Received the bread bin with damage on lid and coating coming away from the base so had to return. Disappointing as this is a really nice looking bread bin.
