There is also wild baby rabbits i dont want to harm. Would this be a good option?** A: I would use the cage traps. Smaller rabbits might be able to enter these traps and be harmed. **Q: will this catch moles and voles?** A: I didn't like the long trap, you have to pick it up to see if it caught anything and if you did its hard to slide the cover off to get the critter out. The short tunnel kind are better because the thing on the outside pops up when you catch something and you just push it together like a clothespin and your good to go and the bait cup is underneath not inside like the long kind. I got two moles but it was with a snap trap the big black ones. Not sure if they would go in this, but I think they would. I caught mice and rats in the tunnel kind. Hope this helps, I do not recommend the longer two trap tunnel. And they ate the plate that covers the bait dish. Ugh. Hope this helps **Q: Will this take care of red squirrels?** A: dont think so hole is too small for red squirrels and they are useless at catching anything. **Q: Are these big enough for Wolf Rats?** A: I dont know what a wolf rat is but I would not suggest these for any rats. I had an infestation of around 100 I have killed 82 just guessing about the 100. But these traps are useless. One rat ate the bait plastic flap that goes over the little bait pot. its hard to tell from the outside if they have been sprung. and I only caught one of the 82 rats in this style. I caught a few in the shorter version with only one trap in it. and its easy to see if its sprung from the outside. But if you live where its cold, the rat freezes in there and it wicked to get out. The best ones I have used is the black snap traps with the red bar. But I have also caught 2 birds, one chipmunk two moles with them that I wasnt after. So I put them under milk crates to protect my ducks from getting caught in them. I caught most of them with them. victor brand. I also tried sticky traps which picked up all the bedding and cant use them in the cold. the sticky glue freezes. The big wooden rat traps were too big for the ones I had which were Norway rats, an exterminator said all they would do is poison them but I couldn't and wouldn't use poison around my chickens and ducks, because they would eat a dying rat and kill themselves. So I know this is a long answer, but hopes it helps someone so they dont waste money on ones that dont work. And don't give up, one becomes hundreds in one summer I know that from experience. I kept saying the holes were chipmunks, the mounds of dirt were woodchucks, kept making excuses until the had 3 colonies massive ones on my property. Be ruthless with them they will eat through walls, (they did) eat all your grain which they did. kill garden plants from underneath, give your birds lice and mites. Toilet paper shredded, insulation shredded, large excrement (1/4 to 1/2 inch size), sleeping bag shredded. Turns out there were 2 that thought my cabin was their home. Caught both within 24 hours. As in other reviews, may not work with mice, I would recommend the bucket trap for that. It takes a bit of weight to trip the mechanism on this trap. I had made my own bucket trap for the mice. A five gallon bucket with a loose fitting dowel across the top, three or four inches of water in the bottom, peanut butter on the dowel. I bought this trap because all the peanut butter was cleaned off the dowel and nothing in the bucket. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works most of the time. *by E***A on October 14, 2022* I like the tunnel part. Its easy to add bait. I use can dog food for the bait they like it better than peanut butter! I think I have cyborg Rats, they eat anything, things that people suggest to use to repell them like cayenne pepper! They ate a big pound jar of it. Drank Lysol whole bottle, Drank dish detergent, ate a box of plaster of paris (that's supposed to solidify in their stomach, it doesn't) Drank a whole bottle of peppermint oil which is supposed to be a deterrent.
