Quality product. My only concern is there are no adjustable friction locks so it is a bit stiff when new- not sure if it will wear to loose with use. The numbers are not engraved in, only "painted" on the bottom surface.

When I placed it on a dark surface I found finer scratches on the underside of it
As soon as I pulled the ruler out of the wrap, I noticed one large, obvious scuff on top. When I placed it on a dark surface I found finer scratches on the underside of it. Other than receiving what appears to be a used one, I think it will work just fine!
