I had V1 of this trigger lock and have used it for over a year. I agree it was kind of loose but it did work. I decided to order another for my other Dyson and was surprised to see it is an upgraded model. It is made with a stronger plastic and has another piece that holds it securely. It works great.

We had huge hopes for this because it gets tiring keeping the trigger down while you clean. I get why they did they trigger like that but it gets annoying. We bought this in hopes to remedy that problem. Over all it’s a great concept but the material needs to be tougher for this to be effective. The material is a weak plastic so when I turn the vacuum it doesn’t continue to hold it’s shape so it makes the vacuum turn off. It became so annoying that we ended up just taking it off because I couldn’t deal with having to fix it over and over again. Picture shows it a little chewed up because we took it off and dogs got to it.

While this does work, it is a lose fit and easy to release the button, turning the vacuum off.

I have a Dyson v11 and this is exactly what I needed to save my hands. You would think Dyson would realize by now that people do not want to have to hold the trigger and it hurts your hand. This simple product has solved the problem. It took 30 seconds to attach it and I had no issues with the performance of the vacuum while in use. I highly recommend this product.

It is very easy to install but it’s so loose on the machine that it’s wobbly and turns on/off too easily if bumped at all. I placed pieces of paper in between this and the machine in attempts to secure it better. It does keep the trigger turned on but if bumped, it turns off easily. I’m going to do more paper and maybe something else to try to help the fit, but I wouldn’t buy this again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else.

Previously and unfortunately, I was diagnosed with bilateral carpal tunnel, and ulnar neuropathy (among other things) and my neurologist installed a Peripheral Nerve Stimulator (PNS) in my arm.Purchased the V15 Dyson Outsize before I ordered or realized I would not be able to use the V15 for long periods of time. Tried as I might, I could not stand to vacuum with the V15 for more than 5 minutes holding down the on/off button. But I surmised, if this product does not work, I am not out that much monies and it sure beats dragging around everything including a cord, and everything south of that.At first I thought this gadget would not help, however, we took a chance and sent away for your product.How can a little bit of plastic work?I tell you … this blessing has totally changed my LIFE, my vacuuming life that is. If you have a Dyson, you need this extension. Your hand will thank you. I don't know how I ever used my vacuum without it.
