Myers 3/4 HP 1500 gph Cast Iron Shallow Jet Well Pump

Seller stated product was new but paint peeled off of old coating when I received the pump and the pump has now failed after only 4 years of use.

Works Great! Shipped to me, in WV, in 3 days. I have had Meyers pumps before and they have always lasted for years. Quiet also!

Pump failed after less than four month of use. Contacted Myer the maker and was told I needed to go to point of sale. Faucets and Accessories gave me the run around for a week and finally said they do not warranty after 12 months of sale even when Myer said it was 12 month of installation. After 7 emails I have given up. Amazon should remove this vendor from it's approved list. Supplier rating is 0.0 stars.

This pump was ordered to replace an existing pump. Pump is fine, works as expected. However, the photo shown on-line when ordered did not represent the actual produce, some re-plumbing had to be added to the cost of installation. The photo shown here, does not properly represent the actual product.

Soo, for the cost being in the upper mid range for jet pumps, I expect Much Better quality than this. Yes, there's been several other issues since purchasing this pump exactly 355 days ago....I submitted a warranty claim via Myers/Pentair. We shall see what transpires. I still have the 20 plus years old pump in my garage that still looks brand new, other than just a bit of sun fading. I even built a shelter for this one. Zero excuses for this piss poor quality.

This pump is garbage. Had to deal with the plastic supply lines blowing off twice and spraying water all over our basement before we rigged it with copper supply lines, only to have the piece of junk burn itself up 3 months after the warranty was up. Called the company for an explanation since it is supposed to have a thermal overload and there was no reason for it to keep running anyway. They told us that it was probably because it needs to be on its own 30 amp breaker and we have it on a 20 amp. Husband referred to the manual which states it needs a 20 amp breaker and the guy changed his tune saying that actually it needs double that, a 40 amp. Still no explanation of why the thermal overload didn't work and no offer of any compensation. So we are without water and need to spend an additional 3-400 on a non junk pump.

Pump was exactly as described, fixed my low water pressure. Arrived quickly. Would purchase from seller again.

I replaced a 23 year old 1/2 HP HJ50S that was failing. The new pump works great. Flipping a switch in the power box to go between 110 and 220 was super easy. I will report that I was able to get the pump up to and to cycle successfully between 40 and 55 and our water pressure is much better now, and our electric costs are actually down because it runs much less than the old one.
