I’m allergic to the sun and usually get annoying rashes from both the sun and many sunscreens I’ve tried. I’ve always used Cera Ve but recently it was causing some small rashes so I looked up quality products on an app that reviews the ingredients and tells you what is good and bad. This sunscreen has good ingredients and is the only mineral sunscreen I’ve used that actually does blend into skin! At first it seems like it won’t but it only takes a minute. It’s thick when you rub it in, but feels very light in my face. In my opinion it’s not sticky at all, after a few minutes post-application I don’t even notice it’s on my skin. No scent to me, and very effective. My rash went away and my skin is softer than ever so it’s helped with that, too. I only use a pea-sized dab and it covers my face perfectly.

This worked so well in the hot Caribbean sun - no sunburn, barely any tan either! I am 69 years old, and I want to preserve my skin for years to come. This cream goes on smoothly and has almost no scent at all.

**Original review: Arrived wrapped and tapped up in a plastic bag. Has marks and scratches all over. Generally looks dirty. The cap had cream smeared inside and a speck of dirt and a little hair. The cap won’t close. As you can see in the photos that’s as closed as I could get it, it won’t snap shut. That’s the tipping point of me thinking it must be used. It also expires only 3 months after it arrived. **Updated review: I returned the used product and received a new (sealed) bottle. Now to review the sunscreen itself. Thinksport is definitely not just the brand name, it’s indicative of the product. I’d say it’s best for active people or when going swimming. It’s very thick and very waterproof (hard to get off my hands after applying). It’s not scented, but smells a bit like cheap crayons. Off putting at first, but I got used to it and the smell dies down once it sets in the skin. I am quite pale and I don’t think it gives me much of a white cast, but I do spend a bit of time rubbing it in, which is partly due to how thick it is. Also, don’t get it in your eyes, it stings a lot. It definitely works to prevent sunburns as I wore it on my face, neck and upper chest and didn’t get burned, but did burn on my shoulders which didn’t have this sunscreen. It’s not terrible and I will finish the bottle, but I likely won’t repurchase as it’s just more heavy duty than I need and some days I don’t even want to wear it because it feels like too much work to put it on. **TLDR: this sunscreen does work, it’s not the most appealing for everyday wear unless you are very active/in the water. Great for sport and water activities though.

I bought this in response to finding most commercial sunscreens have chemicals that show up in the blood stream. This is mineral based and does not diffuse through the skin. It also does its basic job without problems and you can see a transitory pink effect which shows where you have coverage.

I love this non-toxic sunscreen. It does give you a white hue, but I don't mind it since it has fewer toxic chemicals than standard sunscreen. My kids and I never get burned wearing it.

I really wanted to like this since it has clean ingredients, is cruelty-free, and Yuka approved. But I hate it! It’s thick, and does prevent sunburn but also leaves a terrible white cast. Not only does it give you a weird white hue but it also sticks to any dry skin that you have and essentially magnifies it. I've tried applying lotion as a base per other reviews suggestions but haven't had any success with minimizing dryness. I've also noticed after hours of wear, it looks cakey and gross on my skin. It's great for arms, legs— you name it, but I will not be applying it to my face again.

I love the product. Its not sticky or thick. Easy to rub it in the skin. I am very sensitive to sun and I did not get any sunburn or sun marks on my skin even after I was walking under the sun all day. I reapplied after 3 hours.

Leaves a white film and didn’t interact well under my makeup!

I always hated mineral sunscreens for the heavy white film. So I always have used gel ones instead. I recently did some research on the gel ones and found out how many toxic ingredients are in them and found mineral ones are much less toxic. I really like this one… It’s not really heavy and sticky and fades quite quickly upon application.
