Excellent item, shipped quick, and surprisingly durable!

I understand that you should not use the nylon or hard picks on ukuleles, due to risk of damage to the strings. I’ve had experiences where I played a lot, and my index finger scan above my fingernail would become very tender. I was looking for an answer, and stumbled across these. They have worked very well. They have a nice crisp, but not overpowering sound. I pass them out to everyone in our ukulele group. Everyone seems to really appreciate them. I do give your fingers a break.

Fairly stiff, many colors to choose from. Won't abrade easily. I wish there a few more floppy ones, but with a little work and creasing I got to the right stiffness.

I bought these for my classes to use for playing ukulele in my elementary music classroom. They were very whiny about strumming and they wore me down into finally getting them something to use to make it easier! They are quick and nice quality. Hopefully they last and these kids don’t find a way to break them!

First, I am not an experienced ukulele player, I've only been playing for a week (I'm a band teacher now teaching ukulele, so I'm just a few steps ahead of my students for now). I can't speak to the fine details of these picks, but they are perfect for teaching 8 and 9 years olds to play without their fingers getting so sore. The picks are sturdy and sound good, at least to my mostly untrained ear. They held up in class today and arrived the day after I ordered them. My biggest goal was whatever would arrive fast enough to have before my next class These did the trick and the kids enjoyed class a lot more today.

They're picks. Made of felt. They're kinda cool. You can use them wherever picks are used. They mute out some harsh tones on a cheaper ukulele... Which I have. They're kinda cool to try on bass and acoustic guitars too. They kinda mute the ring, which isn't terrible, but not a sound I really enjoy.

My nine-year-old daughter likes these for strumming practice on her soprano ukulele. Without them she can only practice for a little while before it starts to hurt her thumb and fingers. While not ideal, they do help to extend her practice time by quite a lot. She still prefers to play with her fingers but, appreciates the felt picks value during strumming practice. I've never used a pick with my ukuleles but, I did try these for this review. They are a bit stiff when new but, do soften up after some use. The sound is mellow, no ticking, and overall provide a pleasurable experience. I'm not sold on using a felt pick to play ukulele but, these appear to be good quality and a good value.
