My HVAC tech (Parobek) recommended these to keep the overflow drain clear, and they’ve been great so far. I just drop one tablet into the small overflow tube and leave it to dissolve. I purchased these to add to our two air handlers. They are the same tablets that our HVAC company uses yet they want to charge me $75 to add them to each unit. This I can handle myself and save the money for other items. Haven't had any backups since I have been using them. Highly recommend as long as you feel okay handling the install.

Unfortunately the how to use instructions on the bottle doesn’t say how many tablets to use each time , found instructions on Amazon , will try what it says
