good replacement
I had an old expensive subwoofer in my system. When it broke I was debating sending it for repair, which seems to be ridiculous expensive. A newer model would be even more expensive. Since the problem was with the electronic I also did not want to waste the chassis and the speaker itself. So I stumbled over this subwoofer plate amplifier. Since this one is only a fraction of the cost as any other options I had, I gave it a try. By simply removing the old amplifier and mounting the new one ( needs a small frame I built ) it worked like a charm. Even with the 300W rating it creates a lot of clear sounding bass. This is a perfect replacement when you are on a low budget. It has all the knobs you need to tune and integrate it into your audio system. Requires a bit calibration to seamlessly work in your audio setup. It runs also from 120-240 Volts in case you live in Europe. I'm a happy customer now, every penny well spent.

Excellent product
The internal amplifier on my Klipsch subwoofer died. I replaced it with this and it works like new. Plenty of power and it gave a new life to my subwoofer.

Overall very happy but seems a bit underpowered
Overall I'm quite happy with the product. I 3D printed a nice enclosure to house the amp, with ventilation slots top and bottom. It's size is nice and compact so it is easy to manipulate and install. No noise or hum during operation. Auto mode works well. My only surprise was how high I had to place the volume to get a suitable level. My old (cheap) A/B amp was only 200w, but setting it to 3 out of 10 was plenty for my lounge room. This amp I had to set it over half way to get the same level. Saved over $100 by buying it direct from Amazon US and shipping it to Australia.

Well packaged
Came in very protective packaging, probably would survive an Ace Ventura delivery. Fit perfectly with wood adapter I built for my Polk PSW505 which are apparently notorious for failures. Drives subwoofer well. Way more cost effective than a replacement polk RF5050-4 plate amp. I have done minimal testing but so far seems to be performing well with no distortion at normal use levels. Will update if any problems arise.

Crappy packaging, shipping and handling
Received this amp in a damaged box, the plate had a significant bend on one end. For what's obviously a fragile piece of equipment, it is the worst packaging I have ever seen, coming from a so called reputable company like Dayton. In addition to the crappy packaging, it's possible the damage came from poor and incompetent handling from Amazon. If the packaging was done on a professional level, it possibly would have survived the crappy and unprofessional handling during shipping and delivery. I returned it the same day.

A LOT of bass (once it finally got here).
Got this today, as a replacement for a blown amp on a 17 year old REL T2. Had a lot of time waiting, so I already had a 1" thick back fitted to the cabinet.. Installed amp, and spent a bit of time getting it set up with KEF LSX powered speakers. Did not need the +6 boost at 30hz. Used the KEF app to adjust the x-over points and any trim. WAY more bass than the REL "200 watt" amp. High pass at 70hz; low pass at 65. +1 on bass boost (+2-10 just not needed). That was it, so far. Sounded good! Plug & play, basically. Now, complaints...I ordered this 9 days ago. I am not complaining about not getting 1 day shipping, or 2 day shipping. And I understand that things can go awry. But all last week, Amazon was still advertising "2 day shipping" on this unit. I theoretically could have re-ordered it on Wednesday, received it Friday, and just sent back this unit when it came in (the following Monday). It appears they were promising to new customers while reneging on deals with existing customers. 2 chats yielded promises to "expedite" the order, but that didn't happen. I hope nothing goes wrong with this amp, because I don't want to go into Amazon shipping hell again. Update after a couple of days…on some modern pop, too much bass at +1. Rock, blues, most jazz great. Reggae 👍. Organ music is big, and low volume anything is good. I can adjust on the fly for pieces with too much bass, so thumbs up on the amp. Update 2 weeks later...still too much bass, so -2 on the volume, high pass still at 70hz, but low pass at 60hz. Sounds very good! One last comment, one month in…the Auto On/Off is slow to come on if the music is quiet-ish or lacking much bass. I now leave it On all the time; instructions say that’s costing me 8.5 watts. This seems like something that should be properly engineered out by now.

Powers the Monoprice SW-15 pretty well!
After an hour or two of use this is working well. I was one of the suckers who ended up with a dead Monoprice SW-15 plate amp after 7 months. This amo doesn't appear to be as powerful as the Monoprice but at least I didn't have to trash it. It took me a few hours of measuring and cutting to create a board to mount this to but I'm happy with the results.

Seems to work
Just got the amp in but really have not put it to a test.... yet. It states 300 watts RMS, hope it is. I know most of you people don't even know what RMS means (all you know is watts). It means Root Mean Square and that's not the distorted output most people put up with. I will test it very good after I've had a few drinks!

It's good
I have used this for 2 years now... I bought a 2nd one because it was on sale.. I'm using a 12 inch sub...it really pounds good..can turn it down to 60 or 70 hz...makes some really deep bass...I built my own box with a compartment for the amp ...I installed a cooling fan in that compartment...the amp could use bigger cooling fins..in my opinion

some problems, quality control lacking
Connecting sub 1 out from Marantz SR7015 - no output to 15SSW-4HE verified working SUB, when using R rca input, connecting to L input does produce output. Setting the auto on/off switch to off (that's auto on I presume), amp never turn, setting to on means amp is always on. Fixed everything, cold solder joint on R rca connection, re soldered all ok, switch is 3 position, center is auto on. Not clear in instructio manual. Works well, sounds 👍.

Claims 300 watts?
It works for what it is,definitely not 300 watts as advertised, probably like 50 to 100 watts at best. Do not buy, and I can't return it, it's not 300 watts as claimed, junk.
