Amazing little controller!
Awhile ago my husband & I found this controller on Amazon. It said it's was designed specifically for users with limited mobility, so it's very compacted together into a very small unit, & the shoulder buttons are on the front with your other buttons, A B X Y etc. The shoulder buttons perk alone were enough reason for my husband to insist we pre-order it. He wanted an option for me to have of playing any games requiring shoulder button use without having to use my fancy Quad stick handsfree controller, so that I could play laying down, on days when my back hurts. Which most require anymore, so he didn't like my game options being so limited. It arrived a week ago, & I finally had a chance to try it. This thing is way cooler than expected. In addition to all the buttons in front, all the buttons are super clicky. Very sensitive to the touch, which really helps with comfort. My favorite part though? IT HAS BUTTON MAPPING. Yep, I can arrange the buttons however I please, exactly the same way you can with the joycon's settings. But this thing is a more comfortable use. I liked my joycons fine, so I didn't expect it to feel even better to me. I highly recommend this controller.

Easy to use for dexterity problems
This is a great little Bluetooth controller! Easy to pair up, and it's almost completely customizable, and perfectly responsive. It works with my Android phone and tablet for games (such as Stardew Valley) that accept controller input; and the Switch. It's compact and easy to carry, even fits in a shirt pocket! I'm hooked. I highly recommend this great little controller.

Good idea, flawed execution
Really good idea. Having arthritis in my fingers, low-resistance joysticks and buttons seem perfect! The problem is, this controller is clearly made for very young people or people with very tiny hands. The irony is, many people with disabilities would really benefit from this being a larger controller with larger buttons regardless of age. The dpad is almost useless as an actual dpad because of the button spacing being so far apart and so small. Having low-resistance bumper/trigger buttons in their traditional location as well as on top would have been a big help as well. The joysticks are hard to get into the right position because of how small and imprecise they are. Another accessibility feature, the turbo mode, only works when paired in Android mode, not Switch. So yet another would-be-great feature is half-baked on this. I'd like to see a 30-50% larger version of this controller with a few improvements. As is, its probably going back

3 Changes could make this controller the greatest portabke gamepad of all time!
First of all, d-input is fine for this controller. As far as I know the only advantage of x-input over d-input is analog triggers, which this controller doesn't have. This controller works fine on PC and Android as it is, although I suppose x-input could be a nice addition if the Lite SE 2 were to exist. Next, the buttons. They feel great. They feel a lot like the Nintendo DS lite face buttons that are ever so slightly easier to press, if that makes any sense. The rest of the buttons (+, -, home, star, L3, and R3) they feel different but they are great too. They sticks are exatcly like joycon sticks but with a smaller cap which is great for this kind of ultra portable gamepads. Lastly, I want to provide feedback to 8Bitdo in case they ever make a revision of this controller, the mythical Lite SE 2 if you will. First, add a proper d-pad. No third party controller should ever mimic the split d-pad from Nintendo's joy cons, they are complete trash and should burn in hell. Just add a d-pad with the same ease of press design in mind. Second, add shoulder buttons to the back of the controller like the original 8bitdo Lite controller. I like the fact that this controller gives you the option of pressing the sticks for L3 and R3 or use the separate L3 and R3 dedicated buttons, and I believe the same should apply for the shoulder buttons as well. Otherwise games like breath of the wild or dark souls are border line impossible to play. Finally, make the non-slip pad on the back actually removable or optional. You can see in the promotional pictures someone peeling back the pad on tbe back of the controller. YOU CAN'T DO THAT! The pad is glued to the back and once you remove it, you can't put it back on. You shouldn't get rid of that idea, just make it optional rather than have the non-slip pad pre-installed. If 8bitdo ever makes the Lite SE 2 with this improvements I will sing the praises of 8bitdo until the end of times. Make it happen 8bitdo! (By they way, if you okay with the quirks I listed above than I would recommend this controller).

Makes gaming possible with a repetitive stress injury
I have a repetitive stress injury in my arms and haven’t been able to sit down and play games for more than 10 minutes. This controller has really helped change that. While I still need to limit my playtime, I can get about an hour of Animal Crossing in! I have gained a lot of respect for 8BitDo having made such an affordable accessible controller.

Great for kids with severe muscle weakness!
This is exactly the product I've been looking for! My daughter has a severe degenerative muscle disease and she's been getting frustrated with the switch pro controllers. The resistance is too strong for her to move in all directions and the buttons were becoming hard for her to press. We had to make creative use of the mapping function since she could not make use of the trigger buttons. This controller solved all of those problems instantly. Hearing her cheer at being able to move around much easier and play her favorite games again makes it all worth it! Great product!

This is an amazing device for anyone who struggles with manual dexterity or other hand-related health issues. The buttons and sticks are very easy to press / use, and the front-mounted "shoulder buttons" are ideal if you are physically unable to hold the controller for extended periods of time. Just be aware that this is a specialised product aimed at a specific audience (people with disabilities and children in particular). If you don't struggle with the buttons on other controllers, these will likely feel too soft / mushy to you.

Lovely little pocket controller. The shoulder buttons being on the front face is a bit of a learning curve, but once you know where they are it's just as easy as a normal controller. Size is fine for my big hands

I’m not sure if this thing supports amiibos but apart from that this controller has every other feature that a switch controller should have in a small shell it aimed at fitting games and everything this controller does supports this idea the buttons have a short travel with a much softer tension than normal controller making them very easy to press the same was done with the sticks tension making it very easy to make any imputes feel snappy and responsive my only issue with this controller is the fact that the home and screenshot/function button got the same exact treatment meaning their too are very easy to press unintentionally
