I picked up the VIZIO V-Series 2.0 Compact Sound Bar to use with my gaming desktop and side monitor/TV, and it’s been a solid upgrade all around. For such a compact soundbar, the audio is surprisingly full and clear. Dialogue comes through crisp while gaming, and the bass has just enough punch to make explosions feel impactful without shaking the desk. It's not a subwoofer-level thump, but it’s perfect for a desktop or small room setup. Setup was super easy—just plug it in, connect via HDMI ARC or optical, and you’re up and running in minutes. I mostly use it via Bluetooth and HDMI depending on what I’m doing, and it switches inputs pretty seamlessly. It also looks great—clean, minimal design that tucks nicely under my second monitor/TV without crowding the desk. I am a musician and spend a lot of time recording/mixing and mastering music. I got this and the sub for my 36' RV. It sounds great and can even make it so I can hear over my girlfriends cronch cronch crounching of popcorn and jiba Jabba! Plus it sounds good and was super easy to setup.

This soundbar has a tremendous value and sounds alot better than any cheap TV built in speakers. The bar itself is sleek and black, not distracting in any way, and the space it takes is well worth it for the audio experience it provides. The bar was able to fit inside my dresser with ease although it was somewhat complicated to route the power cable. The only reason I would steer away is if you don't have many HDMI ports on your TV as it requires it to transmit the sound. If thats not a problem for you then this is an amazing soundbar with amazing sound quality and volume.

I got a lot of positive answers when I asked people here about this soundbar, and I agree with them. This is a big improvement over the computer speakers I had been using with my television. It gives the volume and bass a boost, and there are different settings (such as one that emphasizes speaking voices), so you can pick the one(s) that work best for you. It is fine for both music videos and movies/TV shows. You will want to use a connecting cable, since there is a tiny but noticeable lag if you do a bluetooth connection. This is not high end audio of course (look at the price) and it might not be good in a big room, but if you want an inexpensive soundbar for your TV, this is a very good choice.

Looks good, set up was simple, sound is acceptable. Pairs easily to TV or my iPhone. Dialogue is clearer than the TV’s speaker.

What a great deal. I bought this soundbar for my parent's living room TV and I haven't needed to complain since buying. The more I use it, the more I appreciate how much better the sound is especially for playing music.

Good bass. Makes up for the lousy sound from the speakers on the Vizio TV I bought

Very underwhelmed. My old vizio soundbar was a lot better sound quality. Does this newer model work? Yep. Is there any bass to thr sound? Nope. Does it sound tinny? Ya. If you want clear, full, sound? This ain't it. I kept thr soundbar, but switched it out with one of the older models I had in my office, bc its a smaller room. If you want a soundbar for a larger room, look elsewhere.
