This is a high quality smartphone mount in my opinion. The piece that attaches to the phone feels very solid and very well made. The hand grip is made of wood and is of a large enough diameter to securely grasp with larger hands. While it does not affect function and probably adds to the cost, the set is also packaged very nicely (would make a great gift).

My first purchase for the Glif (full set).My first impression was how the set is well put together. The Glif itself fits and hold the iPhone 7 Plus without any issue. The construction of the Glif is a very hard & strong looking plastic with 3holes for attachments. The LEVER to open and release the jaw, it scared me at 1st because it felt like it may break off when I ist try to release/ open it, but it is strong. I would recommend when opening, hold it firmly with both hands and pull it gently to open. Closing the lever is so easy, all you have to do is PRESS it in. (please, please, please read instructions before using)This will avoid rough pulling that can or may cause harm to the lever when opening only, but it felt strong and sturdy.The "claws" has a very sturdy/ firm rubber and it will NOT squeeze the phone to cause any damage. The IPhone 7Plus is very secured into the Glif The handle and wrist strap are fantastic, I love it! I'm going to paint or design the Wooden Handle🤗🤗.This item should be 5Stars but I gave it 4Stars because of how I felt when I 1st try open/ release the Lever! I do hope it lasted a long time for me because it's a very cool design. I will also use it to attached to my Tripod.I will follow up later as I started to use this Item.

Poor quality. The lever is plastic. I have two of these - lever broke off easily on both almost immediately. It should be metal, not plastic, especially at this price point.

This is an amazing combo. The Glif itself is the best iPhone (actually works with any phone) mount I've used. I have mistakenly purchased or used much cheaper types (i.e. an included mount with a tripod) that have always given me the shakes because they just don't seem secure. The Glif is secure in the first position, and truly locks in the phone in the second.The handle seemed like a luxury purchase when I made the order, but it was an amazing accessory on our recent vacation. Even though the iPhone 7 has image stabilization, adding the handle made framing and steadying my photos and videos that much easier. The three mounting points seemed like overkill, but now I'm interested in purchasing an LED light panel to use with my phone, Glif, and Hand Grip.

For the price I paid, I expected a better finish on the grip -- it needed finer sanding, and a varnish coating. The use of cork under the screw is a nice touch though, adding some give to that spot means you can screw on attachments so they're tight but not so tight you can't get them back off. The "Glif" itself (the rig that grabs your phone) has a nifty mechanism for attaching that's super easy to lock/unlock. I've always felt my phone was secure, even in a case.

Best iPhone mounting solution. The glif is so easy to use and solid with tons of attachment points.

The plastic device broke almost immediately and I got virtually no use out of it.

Really happy with this purchase, the lever design is clever and holds my phone firmly. Seems like a cool company, I ordered their unique notebook for work as well and love it.
