Works with my crash bars.
Does what i need it to do. The u-bolt is on the front to keep it from sliding forward and the bottom is resting on the crash bars which are already mounted(I say resting but better word is wedged and i can't actually mount it properly anyway because the crash bars create too much space between bars under the crankcase and the skid plate for the given mounts to reach with the given bolts. Something to consider i suppose but the way it is works for me). I bottomed out to test it and it works fine doesn't rattle. Good necessary purchase for hard off-roading.
