This is an amazing Bible. Not only is it much easiser for kids to understand than a king james version, but also has hundreds of photos and explanations on the history and culture of the Israelites and Jewish culture that help the children understand biblical times.

We have two of these. Great quality. Both are used by our older two children one in middle school and the other in grade school. They enjoy the maps and additional details such as the statue from a dream Daniel interprets for the king of Babylon. Great free source for young minds wanting to learn more about the Bible.

Now that Bible tabs have been added, this is literally one of my son's favorite things. He asked me to puck a verse to read, and he asks me sometimes what the verses mean (meaning he's reading it himself). Great bible to start Bible reading habits. Sometimes I just leave it there for him to pick up when he's bored

This Bible is perfect for my 15yr old who is new to Bible study. It looks mature with the leather cover and basic pages but also interactive with color and side notes in the margins. It does have some pictures but not overwhelming and kiddy. Single column reading with font size that is readable. Also each Book has a title page with Who, What, Where information. The whole format of this Bible is very eye appealing. I know with this Bible if his attention wanders away from the actual discussion he’ll still be reading fun facts and information in the margins.

Bought this for my Godson for his Communion!!! I opened it it is beautiful the cover the pictures inside!! Easy to read!!! Love the notes on the sides about certain saying mewnings etc. Also in beganing of each book gives a little insite of what their going to read LOVE THAT TOO!!!! It's not just a big book with so many words and you get lost and over whelmed in reading the Bible This Bible really helps children begannigers and adults who really want to read the Bible helps them understand it better!!! I think whoever gets lucky to revive this Bible they will really enjoy it!!!!!

It all started when I ordered this bible for my 10-year-old nephew. I was so impressed when I saw the bible on line that I ordered one for myself. When it arrived, I was even MORE impressed. The cover is gorgeous, with a slight iridescence and an embossed design that is a pleasure to see on your kitchen island (where I read every day). The weight and size are ideal; not too small, not too big. The interior design is about the best I've seen in a bible (and I have seven). It's colorful yet clean. The single-column text format is a nice change from the more common two-column format. Each page has the same layout, with colorfully designed notes here and there to highlight certain verses and introduce concepts. Speaking of notes, I am a new believer and this is my first spin through the bible. So it's important for me to understand big ideas and themes and tie everything together. My go-to bible has been a hefty and dense NLT illustrated study bible. I love it, but all the articles and charts and footnotes and maps can get distracting. This kids' bible is a bible you can pick up and get into the Word without being overwhelmed. The occasional chart or list is done very nicely. What's interesting is: I take notes in a small journal, where I do little charts and lists to help connect the dots and summarize important themes. This kids' bible does the same thing! This bible thinks like I do, and probably like you do as well. Tie it up in a nice ribbon (and there is a ribbon bookmarker), and this kids' bible is great for adults too. Came in great condition. We liked the single column aspect. The side notes and images seem appropriate for older kids. My 12 yr old kid really likes it!

This Bible is amazing quality and has great illustrations and tidbits included for kids. My 6 year old son is very proud of it and I like that it is an easy read for him.

This is a great bible for a step up from the picture children’s bible.
