Works good for what I needed it for its a good value and it's safe to use but make sure you drain out all water after use or the inside will rust or gard water will build up and make it useless

Syringe is medical grade and worked just as well as a doctor's visit. It is easy to use with warm water and part hydrogen peroxide to clear wax from our relative's ears.

I was excited to get this as I used to get my ears cleaned when I was little by a doctor with something similar. It comes in a plastic unsealed bag within box that contains no instructions on how to use or how to put together. Lucy for me I remember how to use it. However, it comes in multiple pieces and you have to figure out how to open it before putting the pieces together. (By the way, you just unscrew it and pull the plunger.) Upon opening it, to clean it out before using it, I noticed that it was dirty. At first I thought it was a patina (box says it's it's made from brass) or maybe grease/oil to keep the metal from oxidizing, except that it was dry and came off on a q-tip. I don't feel comfortable even boiling it to use it. Something that's going to be used to clean my ears should be better packaged than that. I honestly don't know if I received a used one, but again, I'm apprehensive to try it. Requesting a return ASAP.

I love the product, it works very well when you need to have your ears cleaned. I had always gone to the doctor to have my ears cleaned, the dr. would use the same type product. I have purchased (2), approximately one year apart, and getting ready to order my third one BUT they continue to stop working. Not sure what the problem is since there are not many moving parts, when you attempt to pull the handle up to draw the water into the vile, the handle is stuck. Not sure what the problem is, unless there is a washer or o-ring inside that I cannot see, and it wears out? The product works great, but does not last long, when used on a regular basis.
