We ran into heavy rain and hoped it would keep our luggage dry as stated in the description. This was not true. When we arrived at our destination I unzipped and found standing water inside. Luggage was soaked, dripping wet, all the way to our clothes. The material had disintegrated and was falling apart as shown on the pictures I posted. Waste of money and now have to buy new luggage.

Very roomy but not waterproof
This is a roomy tote for the money but it's not very sturdy. One of the handles fell off the very first time we used it. The straps need to be longer to secure it to the luggage rack, and they are kinda flimsy. They give you extra ones but they don't fit with the other ones and we really didn't know what to do with them. Some directions would be nice. We ended up using our own straps to secure it to our Subaru Outback because the straps just weren't sturdy enough and it really didn't look like it would last. Also take note that it is water resistant and not waterproof! It rained on our very first trip and all of our stuff got soaked. It offers about as much protection as a book bag or a carry on tote. On the bright side, the zipper was sturdy and all of our stuff fit. We will keep it and just use our own straps to secure it to our car. That worked well.

Keep looking
Can only give two stars because the bag is Nice and large. Holds one large suitcase, one carry on suitcase, some extra odds and ends. Pros: its large and has a great amount of space. MAJOR CONS: we bought this for our cross country trip and tested it on a 12 hour drive to Florida. The heavy duty straps you'd expect to tether to your roof rack don't reach far enough even when the bag is empty. Leaving you to depend on the flimsy 6 extra straps sent as your sole tethering option. We drive a newer Ford Explorer and this system couldn't even fit our rack. Very disappointing. Driving down the freeway going 70mph and the bag is sliding down our car roof even with the recommended grip mat. When we stopped to work it back up the car, one of the straps broke. We get to buy another travel system now and will likely go with a more trusted brand. If you're using this for light storage and short trips, it'll probably work fine, but for durable, dependable travel storage, Id recommend to keep looking.

On my way back I have to add a garbage liner to each luggage to prevent the same issue ...
When I got to my destination found out that all my cloths were wet, the inside cargo bag lot of water, everything was well seal. On my way back I have to add a garbage liner to each luggage to prevent the same issue and found water inside the cargo bag again. I will not recommend this product.

The zipper isn't waterproof
The main material is waterproof but when the car is driving, the lip of material over the zipper kept pulling up, exposing the zipper and the water got through that way. After driving in significant rain for a whole day, the contents in the front half of the bag were pretty wet. Next time I'll try using tape to tape the lip down over the zipper.

Ripped at the Seam
Worked well for two days, but then ripped at the seam from nothing more than driving on the interstate. Wasn't even full. Properly installed. Too bad we now have all of our items without room for them in the vehicle, and we are not even half-way through our trip. It did rain, and before the gaping hole, everything inside stayed dry.
