You can get 100% squalane oil anywhere, but this is a nice, affordable option. I use this as the last step of my skincare routine at night, right after my moisturizer, to seal in the moisture. My skin is super soft in the morning and it absorbs nicely, not too greasy. I only use about 2-3 drops per application. I did get a few pimples the first couple of weeks of use, but they were super small and surface level, no cystic acne and nothing painful. A pimple patch was able to get rid of them easily. Now, my skin has adjusted and it's clear and healthy like usual.

Squalane is one of several "natural moisturizing factors," meaning that it occurs naturally in the skin. Many people don't have enough squalane present in their skin - like me and need that extra shot of moisture. Minimalist Squalane is both high quality and well packaged in the dropper bottle, so you can easily control the quantity. A little goes a long way. Oh! Did I mention the price? Very affordable. Definitely a five-star product!

Huge amount of product for a small amount of money. I use this on my lips with a red light wand every am and pm, and I haven't had a problem with chapped lips since. There's no fragrance to it, it's really lightweight, and it's a great moisturizer (as least for my lips). I also havent had any issues with clogged pores around my mouth using it.

Love this squalane. Plant based from olives. Helps improve my very dry skin. Improvement with one application. Works well under foundation too. No scent and a quality squalene. Not super thick, just a light to medium oil.

I did not expect it to work so well. I have very dry skin, so I have to use a moisturizer. But every one I tried leaves me with cystic acne on my forehead. This stuff is different! The acne is nearly gone, and my skin looks better than ever. No clogged pores or blackheads, either. Easy and convenient to use, and less expensive than many other products. All I do is put on a few drops after my morning shower. I had other things I also used like scrubs, spot treatments, etc. No longer using them. Try it!

I love squalane. I started using it about 4-5 years ago and ordered it from The Ordinary. They have been out of stock and I could not be without it. I have sensitive combination skin and squalane is amazing for my skin. This was my first time using this brand and compared to my normal brand it is a thinner consistency. I prefer the thicker, but this works fine, I just have to use a few more drops at a time. I love the texture and the way it feels on my skin, a bit velvety and silky. I use squalane exclusively after washing my face when I get an outbreak of perioral dermatitis and it goes away within a couple of days. Great stuff. Wish the texture was a bit thicker, but like that I have a backup brand that feels reliable and makes my skin look fabulous and healthy.

This is the second time I have tried a Squalene oil and the first time I've used it consistently. This type of oil was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I am pleased with the price compared to others, and it does a great job of moisturizing my skin after my prescription retinoid cream, along with a night moisturizer. It soaks right in and my aging skin (I'm 42) loves it! A little goes a long way! I accidentally knocked it over on my bathroom counter and still have plenty left to last a while. Will likely repurchase!

I love this product! I am 52 and I use this on my face and neck straight after washing with my face still damp. It absorbs on my skin better! I don’t use moisturiser, only this and it takes a while to fully absorb but once it has, which takes around an hour, my skin looks radiant! It’s something I have used for years and I have hardly any wrinkles. It also helped with a dry itchy eczema type reaction I had above and below my eyes. It kept it from drying out and helped lessen the itching, which was quite violent at times! I was advised not to use emollient products like aqueous cream on dry itchy skin conditions. Again, I put it on when my skin was still damp. It’s a very light and gentle oil. Not heavy and gloopy. A little goes a long way. I also add it to hand cream and use it on the back of my hands as they get dry. It helps keeps moisture in. You can also put it on your feet (or hands), sleep in socks (or beauty gloves) and your feet (or hands) will be lovely and soft in the morning. It has no smell, which is perfect for me as i prefer no perfume in these types of products. I also like that it is pure and natural plant based. Anything containing perfume is toxic and an endocrine disruptor, something I learnt through personal experience & research, so I now try to use natural products.
