It wax a gift and while it was received happily I was not completely happy with thd fact that it was a little misleading yo me, as "Engraving tool kit" turned out to be thd stones only, which I would not interpret as tools, ha. Plus had more white stones then advertised in picture.

Most of the stones are great. There are some really good sizes for practicing and hopefully getting some good pieces, though since I'm a beginner, just getting some good practice in is all I'm really aiming for at this point. There are a couple pretty ones with some interesting colors and patterns., many that are very similar, and a few that are thin and small and almost unusable. I suppose I could do them if I pick up a clamp to hold them and use very, VERY thin lines, but it just seems pointless. I can carve into the sides for practice, I suppose, but they'll never be a seal. For the price I paid, though, I'm mostly satisfied.

Recently learned to carve pipestone to make primitive beads. Getting more stone to learn to carve with was a lot of fun. I think the quality of the stones is great. They are all different colors and soft enough to carve. I appreciated that they came so quickly and were well wrapped. These are fun to learn on.

I was 70% happy with the items in the lot. I have 3 things that was disappointing. 1. Doesn't match thr picture shown for the item description. No cylinder stones. 2. One of the stones has a cracked running through it and making it unusable. 3. A lot of oblong stones and only 1 skinny rectangle one. Would have been 4 stars if all the stones were usable but since 1 isn't usable dropped down to 3 stars. I didn't feel 15/16 stones being usable was bad enough to try to return it.
