Great Adapter
So I have a 5th wheel I bought new. My first 50amp trailer. Bought a 50amp dongle adapter from the dealer. Only half of my electrical panel worked at home while plugged in. After getting an electrician and contacting someone who writes a blog for the RV industry, found out this is one of the few adapters with two electrical legs inside for both sides of the distribution panel the will work off of my home 20amp plug. Works will for running the lights and charging the battery. Wouldn't try and run the AC with it. Dongle bought at dealer only had one electrical leg, thus only half of the panel worked! Took an army to figure that out

Great Adapter—Until I Donated It to the Sea
I used the Marinco Shore Power Straight Adapter for about six months, and it performed flawlessly. Solid connection, no issues, and it handled my shore power setup like a champ. Then… I dropped it into the marina. Straight to Davy Jones’ locker it went—resting peacefully with lost sunglasses, rogue flip-flops, and at least three of my tools. But let’s be clear: that was my fault, not the adapter’s. Up until its heroic dive, it worked perfectly. If it could’ve swum back to me, I’m sure it would have.

Works great for boat travel.
Great for traveling to marinas that don't have a 110 volt hook-up. I use this when taking the boat to different docks. It allows me to hook my boat up for recharging the batteries when a standard 110 volt hook-up is not available. The LED light on the side of unit shows me when power is available.
