This is really nice! It’s made very well, the black paint finish is shiny and very durable. The lock works perfectly and it comes with two keys. I read the dimensions, but I’m even happier seeing it in person. You can very easily fit flat 8 1/2 X 11 papers/folders in the box. Plenty of room! Like the handle placement. It did come with some dents in the sides, the shipping box and the box it came in were undamaged so I expect it happened at the factory. The paint doesn’t appear to be broken so it shouldn’t rust. Will probably order another one!

This metal lock box works great.

The key cannot be removed unless the box is locked. No handles on the sides of the box so to transport, you pick up by the lid handle which must be locked or it will come open and the contents will fall out. The metal box is heavy so side handles would have been a great feature. No, I would not purchase again, but I’m keeping the box.

This box steel is thick, durable, fireproof & comes with 2 keys.. This box is large enough to store important legal paperwork, yet sturdy and roomy enough to secure, store & hide away precious metals or Rx medications, etc. (but are not waterproof enough to bury items). I bought two because they are not flimsy, yet they’re more portable than standing cabinet home safes & can readily carry, hold & transport 20+ lbs. of contents weight.

It’s a nice lock box. Smaller so doesn’t hold a ton of things but would hold your most important documents I do believe. Returned because it was just big enough I couldn’t find anyplace to concur you keep it. It would fit under most beds though. Mine is really low. I don’t know how fire safe I think it is. Would be good to hold some medications if you want it for that. It could hold quite a few. Or other valuables maybe. Opens by key so don’t lose your key! It is portable. Easy to use. And good value for the money.
