But I'm pretty sure that its 12 size hex head. I just hand tightened it. **Q: Does anyone else's bolt stop the sleeves from spinning?** A: Not supposed to spin. Standard tools will NOT work for installing though. *by J***N on July 5, 2020* My old bolts in my 18 yr old Olympic bar have gotten pretty rusty & even lost one. Purchased these as a replacement & they were a good fit. Less likely to rust & look solid enough.The tool you need to get them screwed on isn't the standard tool you have in your chest though. I believe a hex design is needed, but a larger than normal one is needed. I have alot of tools & I had to go digging around in my specialty box for that size.I believe a common 3/8ths ratchet will fit into the bolt at an awkward angle & be enough to tighten the bolt though incase you do not have the hex design. I tried & it worked. Did not fit perfect, but enough for someone to get the job done.
