Bring the shine back
Nice product. The fineness of the material works well in creating a little more shine.

Worked perfectly on restoring a damaged sink
Someone in my house tried to clean my stainless steel sink with toilet bowl cleaner and it left it badly stained. I read a few of the reviews on this and thought I would give it a shot. I have a triple sink and after working on it for about an hour with a lot of elbow grease I got ride of most of the discoloration. I worked on it for another hour and the sink is pretty much back to normal. I am going to keep working on it as time permits but this is a really good product. I was worried that I was going to have to replace a very expensive sink that is mounted below quartzite countertops. I wouldn't worry about the price of the product it worked wonders. You don't have to use a lot , use it sparingly and keep changing rags. It's kind of like polishing silver or brass. It actually gives it a nice shine after you are done.

3M marine cream for stainless
The most amazing cleaner for rusted stained stainless appliances. Use with a blu nonscratch sponge and wipe with micro fiber towel. Labor intensive but amazing results ... I do a 4 x 4 area about 15 mins a day. Getting there slowly but surely. Thiscworks! And I've tried everything

Works and worth the money
Do you know what happens to a stainless steel sink if you pour sulphuric acid in it? I do! Had a bad sink clog and poured the acid product into the drain. However, it backed up and filled the sink with gross sink stuff and the acid. After the plumber cleared the clog I saw that my sink was ruined. Or so I thought. I tried five items on the market with no success. The sink was splattered with dark spots and was as dull as dirt, looking matte grey. I read about 3M’s marine metal polish and restorer and bought it. $45 was a hefty price for a polish but my uniquely shaped sink was going to cost more than $2,000 to replace! Today it took me two hours of applying, scrubbing and buffing with a dry towel but—my sink looks brand new. I won’t lie—it took lots of elbow grease and effort—but the end result is amazing.

Great product, able to control desired shine.
We live coastal and the humidity is hard on metal. I tried multiple metal polishes on our large (18” wide) metal framed mirror. After a decade of neglect, the shiny metal was dull and rusty looking. I tried multiple metal polishes. None brought even a glimmer of shine, until I tried 3M metal restorer. I applied it using a power drill with a polish head. The frame looks NEW! It was easy and didn’t take long. Rust is gone, there’s not even pitting or scratches in the metal finish. I wanted to leave some dark contrast in the metal design, so I didn’t overdo the polishing but removed all rust. I worked outdoors, didn’t notice an odor but expected the drill to splatter it a bit. Great value because the other products I tried were all a waste of money.

Expensive, but worth the money. It removes what other polishes leave behind, and in less time.

This was used to clean all stainless and aluminum on my sailboat. Had others come and try it and were thrilled with the results!
