great product, separate channel controls is what we needed
used for a choir director in a choral performance. music is prerecorded and this allowed the director to set her own mix of music to vocals. she loved it. good sound, good volume, and having two channels with separate controls right there was exactly what we needed.

Awesome monitor for singer/players
As a singing drummer, I absolutely LOVE this monitor! You have personal volume control, plus a 3-way EQ, and since you can run two channels into it, you can blend the house monitor mix in with your own mic feed (via a microphone "thru" patch) to get the exact blend of the two that you desire. Great Amp!
Great amp. I use it for powerpoint presentations for large number of employees indoor and outdoors. Music sounds good. Watch out! It will blow everyone out of a room! Light weight and easy to carry around to multiple work sites.

Behringer B205D sounds better than this
I did a sound comparison between the Galaxy PA6S and Behringer B205D micstand-mountable powered monitors. I was hoping to include the Mackie SRM150 too, but passed since users are having shut-down problems (I figure, what good would it do if Mackie sounded the best but was having the most repairs?). What a surprise that the half-priced Behringer sounded superior! - I'm not sure if it's because the cabinet has a little more weight and throw to it. The Behringer sounded superior with the EQ flat/unadjusted, while I tweeked the Galaxy's EQ in an effort to make it sound as good as the Behringer, without success. I thought because of the Galaxy's higher price + 2-way system (larger woofer plus a tweeter), that it would blow the Behringer unit away. Not so! I have an older, weightier Galaxy PAX140S that sounds superior to this newer version. I'm guessing lightweight doesn't mean better sound or throw.

The Galaxy Audio PA6 works for me to amplify vocals for recording while playing other instruments that would otherwise drown out the vocals. Just started using it but so far seems sufficient for my home setup.
