Allows my phone to charge and also use a USB data device
These appear to work so well that I now have three of them. Two of these I keep in the case of mine and my wife's cell phones, and the third I keep in our home office. Yes, these are a "one trick pony", in that this adapter is just an "on the go" cable that also has a separate "charging jack". But that is surprisingly useful, as it means you can hook up your phone to a USB data source (for example a flash drive) and also charge the phone at the same time. This is in fact the use case for the adapters I carry around with our phones, as that makes it easy to transfer files on/off the phone while on the road. For the 3rd adapter, I have the data end hooked up to a USB ethernet adapter in my home office and the power jack hooked up to a charger. This means I can plug my phone in when in the office and the phone instantly starts charging AND switches to my wired home internet! This is real handy as my home WiFi signal is iffy at best from my home office, so in that room you really want to use the wired internet if you can!

Works as intended
I have both a OnePlus Nord N200 and just got a cheap Lenovo Tab M9 (2023) from Black Friday sales. Both have proper support for power passthrough, and so this OTG adapter works flawlessly on both of them. I can plug in an external hard drive and charge the phone/tablet at the same time. For context, hard drives require more power than Android devices give out through their USB ports. If you plug them in directly, they disconnect a lot because they can't get the power they need to spin up. As a result, it's kinda become my go-to when testing adapters like this. This one clearly provides both power to charge my devices and power to the attached USB device, ensuring both function as intended. Note that if a USB device is particularly power-hungry, it can slow the rate at which the host device charges. Without a USB device plugged in, this provided enough power to charge my phone and tablet at the same rates as the adapters included with each one. That seems in line with the 60W power delivery claim being made, which is generally the standard for "fast charging" on mobile USB-C devices. In short, it works as intended. If you need a host of USB devices, you'll probably be better off getting a full hub that has power delivery/power passthrough instead. But if all you need is the occasional flash drive or a wired keyboard/mouse/gamepad or something, this works great.

Worked fine with little heat, but combined design is more cumbersome
Worked without the expected heat problem. I wanted to try various USB-C OTG power adapters and this did give better power to my flash drive - but I didn't like the adapter size. Having the 2 USB inputs in one housing made placement of the Onn 4K Plus more restrictive. Guess I prefer the split cable design

Great for Octo4a setup, otherwise works as you'd expect
I am currently using this OTG adapter to connect an old Android phone to my 3D printer to run an app called Octo4a to add a lot of useful features to my printer such as remote access. It works perfectly for this use case where I need the phone constantly connected to both power and a USB cable from the printer. The OTG adapter has been very reliable in that the phone hasn't lost power or data connection to the printer even during longer (12+ hour) prints. I am very happy with being able to put an old phone to good use and the fact that it only costed the worth of this OTG adapter! One thing to look out for in general is that you need to ensure that any USB cables you use with this adapter are designed for data transmission and *not* power only. This is not a fault of the adapter, so make sure that you're using the right cables for this before judging that the device doesn't work. I had to try three different cables before I found one that actually transferred data and was the length that I wanted for my use case, but once I found it I have had no issues since then.

Connects an iPhone 16 to a Peachtree DAC-ITx
With this adapter, a high-quality USB-A to USB-B cable, and an old 12 watt Samsung charger with a USB-C plug to power this adapter, I successfully connected an iPhone 16 to a Peachtree DAC-ITx and it sounded great. Without this adapter, using simply a USB-C to USB-B cable, the phone said that the attached Peachtree 24/192 device required too much power. I didn't try other chargers (such as an old 5 watt Apple charger) to know how little or how much power was required. FYI, I successfully connected a Galaxy S24 phone to this same DAC without this powered adapter. Using simply a USB-C to USB-B cable was sufficient.

Did not work for me when an older, microUSB one with adapters does.
Seems like it should work. But did not work for me when an older, microUSB one with adapters does. Was looking to simplify. But it just did not work when the old one did. So back it goes.

Not Entirely What I Expected
This adapter worked for me in a limited fashion with my MotoG 2025 device. The OTG adapter will accept a USB flash drive and power without issue. However, if I try to use it with power and a wired keyboard, it will only allow power. Alternatively, I can use a BT keyboard in addition to the adapter (power and USB flash drive). Ultimately I wanted to use this device with an externally powered USB hub through which I connect a variety of devices. Sadly, it (or my smartphone) is not capable of doing so. For that reason, I give this three stars. I wouldn't mind switching off between USB devices, if I could even at least get a keyboard to work while it also accepted a charge. That would have been fantastic. So my search continues. I'll keep this device as it does have it's advantages, just not all of the advantages i was hoping for.

Use Google tv streamer 1080p , add USB C OTG: TP-LINK USB hub with wired ethernet and additional ports for mouse and keyboard. PD INIU 20W supplied the power for the whole setup. Works perfectly over the years!

Lo uso para conectar mi iPad a un DAC y a la luz simultáneamente. Después de varios meses no ha fallado en lo absoluto.

Bought this little dongle to add a USB stick to my Google TV. Works flawlessly, able to put retro games on a USB and installed an emulator on my Google TV with a paired Bluetooth controller. Does exactly what I want, without needing to upgrade power brick. Edit: bought 2 more because I was very happy with 1st one. Still working great, but 1 minor issue is if I connect this with Google TV and also using the Google Ethernet power adapter, Google TV no longer recognizes the Ethernet and won't connect to internet that way. Using WiFi still works just fine. Slightly disappointed because I have to choose between retro games (with this device) or Remoteplay on Ethernet (without this device). Yes I know, Remoteplay will work okay on WiFi, but I wanted to go hardwired to improve latency when streaming my PS5. Not a deal breaker, I can find other uses for this device.
