These long fencing posts are perfect for supporting gates as they are thick and can be inserted deep in to the ground making them a strong anchor post. The pressure treatment of these stakes make them ideal to be in contact with the ground. Review: Nice solid straight pieces of wood, I carved them up for making the corner posts of an irregular shaped shed. Were perfect for the purpose, strong and did not split even though 40 percent of the material was removed. Review: Our slight difficulty when the posts arrived was that the driver unloaded the posts onto our front garden before ringing the bell, and was almost back in his cab before we could answer the bell. We, two elderly peope, therefore had to heft the posts through the house and down the length of the garden to the back fence.
