If you've never cooked with Ghee, you should try it for fried chicken once.  Ghee is best as has a very high smoke point, so is great for frying.  Eggs cooked in Ghee have a great flavor also.  Better than butter.  One issue I had is the use by date was about six weeks from the date I received it.  Doesn't encourage buying extra.  Amazon doesn't have a way to see what the use by dates are before purchasing.  I haven't started second second jar I ordered, and the use by date is December (assuming the end of the month).

I use Ghee to avoid lactose And this is the best version of it I have tasted so far. It’s pricey but some things are worth it

You know right away this is a quality ghee: it's stored in a dark jar. Ghee breaks down in heat and light.  The flavor will change as it breaks down and eventually becomes rancid.The flavor profile is much better than any other ghee I have tasted (around 12 different brands..in our quest to make authentic indian dishes). Also the price point is really good. said the local grocery store stopped carrying it. There lost is Amazon's/internet overlord gain!
