The pastels lay down smoothly with predictable cover
Windsor Newton pastels are quite good, I have no problems with the firmness of the pastels. The two issues I have are,, thelimited colors of the set and the fact that the price keeps increasing.

The texture from pastel to pastel is inconsistent. Some colors are as smooth as silk and other colors lift themselves back up from the paper. Watch Black Bean's review on YouTube. He's extremely honest about products and i appreciate it. Had i watched that review first i wouldn't have bought them. The colors are BEAUTIFUL but the quality definitely isn't there.

Windsor & Newton have definitely made a name for themselves! When I saw that they made oil pastels, I was very pleased. I shouldn’t have been surprised, but I was surprised at the cost. What a steal these beautiful oil pastels were. I should have bought more. I definitely suggest these oil pastels to anyone looking for a great set.

What's most important to me about Winsor Newton oil pastels
I'm very 😞 with my Winsor and Newton oil pastels! I've wanted to try them for quite a while and I purchased these to find out they made in China! I have artist friends that have used the UK made oil pastels and they love them. These (not made in UK ) Winsor Newton do not lay down on the paper or blend that well. Not the quality I expected! Going to search for the regular Winsor Newton product!

Wunderschöne Farben, perfekte Konsistenz, nicht zu weich und schmierig wie die von Sennelier, doch cremig , was das Malen sehr angenehm macht. Sie sind aber noch fest genug um auch Kanten zu malen. Man kann sie mit den Gallery Ölkreiden vergleichen, aber weit aus günstiger. Das Preis-.Leistungsverhältnis ist unerwartet gut! Farben lassen sich ganz toll miteinander verbinden und alle Farben leuchten herrlich. Ich möchte diese uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
