good overall and quiet thoroughly designed. not easy to install

Like other reviewers have mentioned, these seat covers were somewhat difficult to install. I definitely pulled a muscle and was at-risk of breaking a few fingernails trying to get the front covers on (and that’s the easy part)! They do look and feel nice though.

Decently easy to install if you watch the video. My main issue is that the seats stained within a week of my installing them. I’ve tried using dish soap and water on a rag, Shout wipes, a Tide pen, and baby wipes, but it seems like it’s stuck there. Very disappointed with this one, as I like the seats, they looks OEM, but hoped they would hold up. Update: seller sent a new seat cover and it looks great! As before, super easy to install. Took about 5 minutes. I’ve also learned that if you happen to stain the seat, Shout or Tide wipes DO work great as long as you use it shortly after it’s stained (happened on my passenger seat). I’ve revised my star review to 4 stars after the new seat was installed. Thanks to the seller for being very easy to work with and making this right!

It will not install at the back. Bad instructions on web. No install instructions with the package. Too expensive. Not worth the money. $25 set of car seats fits easily at the back then this one. Received 09 out of expected 13 parts. Called Amazon. Let's see what they do to correct it. More to come. 10/20/2023 Update: Returned the first set due to missing pieces. Ordered the second set. This time all 13 parts came. Installed them in the front seats. They look awesome. Though, installing at the back is still nightmare. Seeking professional help to get it installed by someone from Tesla or other shop. Moved my 1 star rating to 3 stars now. Why not 5? Because it is still suuuuupppper expensive at $129.99 (that also with Prime only as of 10/20/2023. Without it, much more expensive) with no proper instructions or help. I still do not see any difference between my superstore $25 brown leatherette car seats and this one, except it is white and looks more blended with the Tesla Y as if it is from them only. Front is sure good looking that pop-up seat feature that caches eyes of others.

Didn't fit the back seat well, could not access the center seat belt and the buckle on the seat bottom was hard to use. I didn't even try to fit the front seats as the back seat was such a disappointment. Sent them back, too bad because they looked very nice just wish they fit the back seat better.

A QR link to the installation video via YouTube came in the packaging. This was very helpful for installation. I have white interior in my Tesla stock. I purchased these because I have a one year old and didn’t want him to ruin the original leather. The white matches extremely well. Seats are comfortable (probably more comfortable than the stock). I do wish the rear seats would line up a bit better, I’m sure if I spent more time on it, they would. Semi-pro tip: Make sure you don’t drop the stuffing tool on the frame of the back seat after you remove the seat. There are small cracks the tool fits right in, and you’ll never get it out. :) If the seller is reading this, would love for you to send me another. Overall very happy with the purchase.

These are thick which makes the rear seatbelts difficult to buckle.

Excellent seat covers but little bit of time taken to fit them especially back seat with seat belts but overall would recommend

For the price, I am more than happy ! they honestly look 99% oem with only slight flaws/issues that only I would know about. Yes, install is somewhat difficult and takes time to get it set right but the end results are worth it. Do not hesitate to buy if your on the fence, it will not disappoint just be aware it will take a few hours to install. I do not normally write reviews, but I was mostly impressed with the customer service/response time with the seller. I had a very slight manufacturing issue on one piece. I sent pictures and within a few emails back and forth the sent out a replacement to me, no cost, no hassle. Buy with confidence in the product and with the company knowing they will stand behind it.

The front are super easy to install.. the rear bench is a different story. I do car detailing, and handyman. Im patient….i even changed the dash and added speakers to my tesla by my self. But this.. this leather seat cover, im talker about the the rear.. was a real, i mean a real pain. I've added a photo and circled the two parts that almost want me to give up. I don't how to call the two pieces but it was very frustrating to say the least … each one of them took me nearly as much as all other pieces all together.. Maybe i did not have the right technique or maybe because they changed something in the 2023. On the video it is note like the real life, at-least on the 2023. Trying to remove that trim out turned out to be a very bad idea. As i could not put them back on. There were not only held by clips.. but also held by some main socket .. without the seat cover it was already difficult to put them back into their sockets .. so with the cover on.. it was almost impossible mission. I had probably bent or damaged the main socket by forcing it in. So far it is holding. You can always try to put the cover on without removing the trim of the back seat but trust me., even with plastic trim tool it won't work, or atleast without forcing the cover in like crazy.. crazy enough to damage the cover..or leaving installation marks. If you don't cover these two properly (one on each side) the doors won't close. They must be set correctly in for the rear doors to close. Now you can choose not to put those two and leave the factory one exposed.. if the factory is the same color it won't be a problem.. but the goal is to protect and cover the seat and not putting these two will not cover the whole seats.. And these two are kinda important. They are the first part of the bench exposed to the element when you open the door, your arm will be touching it often, the belt etc.. i focus alot my review on these two trim i have circled because this is where i have spent 65% of the entire installation time.. im not kidding. Like i said, maybe because mine is a 2023. For the rest, the cover looks nice if you install everything properly. The headrest have some wrinkles along the edges. the heat gun helped some. but still not perfect. Aside from the headrest. The rest is perfect fit. Almost like factory. Also keep in mind that i have also added leather ceramic coating on the factory seat prior to install these covers. I did not want this cover to mark or stain the original seat over time. And i also added ceramic on the cover for easier cleanup. Mine did not have any smell, my 2023 about two months old still smell like a freshly delivered car… do i recommend this?.. well amazon don't have many choices, for the price i say it worth it.. as you know. Tesla factory parts are insanely expensive. Most people don't realize until they go to the service for a quote. Tesla parts are actually more expensive than mercedes parts. A simple T chrome emblem logo is nearly $100. And a single headlight $ 2k-3k those amazone stuff are dirt cheap compared to Tesla factory parts, i would onky image how expensive the factory seats can be if you damage it.. so spend that $300 to protect a thousands of dollars seat is well worth it. Again, i suggest you start installing the two annoying cover section (see my photo). Do those first while you still in your prime motivation

Soft touch and looks great, it will protect the original seat from the stains and is reasonably priced
