Soft, shiny hair that smells amazing!
I was honestly shocked by how much I loved this gloss! I have medium brown hair that tends to look dull and frizzy, but after just one use of this gloss, my hair looked so much healthier. It gave me a beautiful, cool-toned brunette finish with a mirror-like shine — like I had just walked out of a salon. It’s super easy to use (just like a hair mask!), smells amazing, and didn’t leave any weird residue. My hair felt soft and smooth for days. Plus, there was no mess or staining in the shower. It does stain your hands if you don’t wear gloves, but it washes off in the shower with soap. If your brunette color needs a boost or you just want your hair to look more vibrant and glossy, this is absolutely worth a try. I will be repurchasing!

Beach blonde will turn your hair RED.
Absolutely do not recommend this. I bought the “Beach Blonde” color, only wanting to refresh my already blonde hair and give it a little boost of color and shine. Instead, I was left with red hair. While it was easy enough to put on, it was annoyingly difficult to get out of the bottle. The mix was darker than I anticipated once I got it out, but I was fine with a darker shade of blonde. The shine and softness are what you’d expect from a product of this price. However, I was NOT okay with ending up with red hair. I messaged the company with photos and their response was “hi there, we're so sorry to hear you didn't love your results. Unfortunately as mentioned on our site, Super Gloss is designed to enhance your shade, not for a total transformation and using it on blonde, bleached or more porous hair risks staining. Luckily, you will find that the color should fade after 10 washes. To speed up the process, you can use a clarifying or detoxifying shampoo.” I replied and explained that I was only wanting to refresh my blonde, hence getting “Beach Blonde”, not a “total transformation” like they suggested. I never once said I wanted a total transformation. Further responses from the company said Glaze is not compatible with blonde hair and only instructed me to use a clarifying shampoo to get it out quicker. Misleading product, lousy customer service.

Pleasantly surprised
I wasn't sure what to make of this, as it wasn't staining anything and it wiped easily from my skin, so I wasn't sure how well this was going to stick, but I was pleasantly surprised. My hair was highlighted last year and I dyed over it at least 6 months ago and had been trying to grow out my natural color which is a medium ashy brown, so with the color fading and my highlights poking through my hair was like 4 different colors. I applied this to my reddish/brown colored hair - pic 1. It went on with a very purple/burgundy tone. Pic 2. And when I rinsed, the color looked grey at the bottom of the tub so I wasn't sure what to expect when my hair dried. The after (pic 3 in a ponytail) actually didnt change my roots too much which is fine because I expected my natural color from "Blazing Brown" which is described as ashy brown. Over the reddish brown, it turned much darker but still an ashy color and covered the reddish tones. Overall I'm very satisfied and my hair was suuuper smooth after rinsing, which is what the point of a "gloss" dye is? I have long hair to the lower back and still had some of the bottle left over, so great quality/result and price, especially for someone who has shorter hair and can get more than one use from the bottle.

5/10 Conditioning Toner
I used this to remove brassiness in my color treated blonde hair. Works great!!! Got my hair back to a cooler ash blonde, and it’s as shiny as advertised. Very easy to use, not harsh at all. EDIT: This product leaves your hair heavy and you will want to use a gunk-removing shampoo the next day. Took away 2 stars for that (it wasn’t a rinsing issue). I have fine hair, so perhaps that’s why this product gunked up my hair. NOTES: Directions say to start at roots but I advise you to start at ends if you are targeting brassy color, and really pack it on/work it through to make sure the hair is covered. The product won’t color grey hair, but it does cool every color down so you might like it for that. Enjoy!

not bad
So, I’ve used this hair dye before. It left the bleached parts of my hair green (the specific color I used did not specify it wasn’t good for bleached hair.) I used blazing brown originally and it did not turn out great. I ended up buying auburn spice to fix what the first dye did because I wanted to give this brand a second chance and I didn’t want to opt for a box dye that would dye my hair and keep it that way for months. And I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised. My hair was already pretty dark so It didn’t make me a ginger, it just added some beautiful warmth and red tones to my hair so it’s almost kind of maroon. My hair is so shiny and pretty and I love the color. This one specified not to use on bleached hair so I’d definitely follow that; I didn’t because I’ve dyed brown over my bleach parts twice and knew it would be fine since red was going to cancel out the green tones in my hair anyway. There are definitely cheaper options but I think it did a great job and is easy to remove from surfaces or your nails and skin if they stain. I’m glad I tried this again.

Solution to product packaging & HEADS UP for lighter hair
I've been doing my own hair and some others for years. Primarily coloring and some corrections. Helpful tips below: -My hair is straight/wavy, and the more sealed the cuticles are, the more wave clumps my hair can form and of course, less tangled -I use this GLAZE instead of semi-perm dye alone because it's good for sealing your cuticles temporarily (makes my frazzled ends presentable before I decide to chop them) -IF YOU HAVE LIGHT YELLOW BASED HAIR/Blonde -IF chose BLAZING BROWN which I knew read as Ash Brown, some of the bad reviews for this color might be from someone not used to dying with "ash" colors. If any dye reads ASH in it and is medium toned, it has blue in it. Blue and YELLOW turns greenish. Blue and blond turns blue lol. And if you have light ash brown hair, use at your own risk, do a PATCH TEST, because leaving it on too long may turn it blue. -BLAZING BROWN is AWESOME if you have medium black/brown hair with orangeish brassy highlights. The blue in the product neutralizes the brass well. If you have blond ends like me be careful as they may turn blue, I mix it with light pink at the ends to counteract the blue abit. PINK(red) cancels out green, so it helps prevent my ends from turning green. -Sometimes the badish reviews are user error, I've been doing hair for years and I still look at the color wheel as I'm mixing 😆🌚 PACKAGING: -I nearly have up on this even though I love the product itself, because the terrible packaging. I hope this company puts this in a squeeze tube. -Some of these are liquidly and perhaps newer?? Some may have been sitting in the warehouse under who knows what conditions or time lol. -SOLUTION : I diluted it just barely with hot (hot to the touch not boiling, like I wouldn't be able to hold my hand in the water) water at a flat quarter size for half the bottle. Less is more, if I could avoid diluting it I would. The goal is to use the water to just get heat moving though the product and loosen some viscosity because if you had trouble with the packaging like me your product probably looks like viscous jello and is a pain to get out of the bottle. Cap it and shake it, should come out easier. You do NOT want a liquid texture, so go a little at a time with the water only using what you need. You'll need to shake before use once you add water. You want a thick LOTION texture. Lmao. For those of us at home 😆 Have fun guys.

Do not use on highlights!!!
I used Blazing Brown. I have a medium brown base and it's highlighted. Once I got it home I read the label and learned this isn't for highlighted hair. Well, I did a strand test on the blonde and was happy with the results so I used it. My hair is super soft, extra shiny, and the color is beautifully rich. UPDATE: in the pics attached I wanted to shed light why this isn't recommended for highlights. After two washes my blonde turned BLUE and after 13 washes (3 with dish soap) and 1 Malibu treatment it DIDN'T come out. I had to go to the salon. Don't make the same mistake as me! Some reviewers said they washed it after applying - I don't recommend that. Apply to clean hair, rinse, style and dry as usual. The bottle definitely sucks.

No, No, No, No, 1000x No!
Do. NOT. Bother. With sooo many gloss products available, inc. your local drug store, Do Not Bother, Hassle, Frustrate yourself w/ this one. Here are your Reasons: 1) the Pump it comes with does Not work and that matters bc 2) Good Luck trying to squeeze this thick, gluey, smelly mess out of the rock hard bottle (see other reviews); you cannot and also, way to be thoughtless ableists: lots of people would not have the hand strength! 3) Even if you can get to the product, BEWARE: The instructions on the Bottle (apply to Dry or damp hair) are completely different than the ones on Amazon (see Above)--Fail. And, 4) there is Zero Shine that lasts longer than 24 hrs, Zero conditioning, barely any color (and Only Darker) plus the added nonsense of "only on Non-processed, colored," etc. hair! Hilarious bc as a Cali girl, I can count on one hand how many natural Blondes are in the Blonde Capital of the World. Again, soooo many glossing products options that will do what they say and then you won't also have the hassle of being out $20.- for the month it takes for Amazon to return your $$$ to you after you already schlepped it back for them! For FREE.

I really hate this bottle
As mentioned before the bottle is very stiff and so it's hard to get the product out specially with gloves (which are not included btw). I did see that my hair was a tone darker after I applied this but the effect didn't last very long so I wouldn't get this again.

Excellent
I am not sure why so many negative reviews, but I am more than happy with Glaze. I tend to change my hair colour often, and I've tried different shades of Glaze, each time with good results. One thing to remember is that this is not a hair dye, therefore it needs to match closely your hair colour. Last one I've tried was blazing brown, on a medium blonde hair. It gives depth and gets rid of brassy and yellow tones. Hair is left with more depth and ashy colour which was my goal. Also, it leaves hair very soft and shiny. People also complain about getting the product out, I solved that problem by completely unscrewing the cap, that way with a bit of shake product comes out nicely. At one point when my hair was lighter, I also used vanilla lights and bronde, also very happy with the results. I always use gloves and don't find it especially messy. I think it's an excellent product as long as we remember to use it as a glaze and not to expect hair dye.
