Arizona hiker here I’m in the sun often. This has been the nicest lipgloss sunscreen I found yet and I have tried them all. There is a slightly unpleasant taste to it, but it goes away almost immediately. Definitely working, looks great on and protecting my lips.

I like the minty smell it has but when you apply it, it tastes gross. It’s pretty thick which I don’t mind too much but I have a hard time wearing it due to the taste. EDIT: before I was putting wayyy too much on. I was applying straight from the tube onto my lips. I started applying using my finger to control how much I wanted and had a much better time. With only a thin layer on my lips were protected from the sun and I didn’t have the issue of the gross taste. My husband and I used this while on our honeymoon in Punta Cana and it worked great. It’s one of my favorite products now and highly recommend.

I use this SPF flip balm in the morning or when I’m going for a run, to the beach, etc. The texture feels just like regular lip gloss. I got the açaí flavor, which smells amazing—but the taste is really weird. Even if you don’t mean to, it ends up in your mouth and it’s hard to get rid of. Despite that, I still use it because it protects my lips and smells great.

These are truly the best! I love them and I love the fact they come in a double pack so I can keep one in my car and one in my home office. Very moisturizing and I love that they are not sticky.

I got the açaí flavored one. The smell is pleasant, subtle and unobtrusive. It works great and seems to stay on for a long time, only needing to reapply every few hours if I’m in the sun for a long enough time. The only caveat is that if you’re not careful, you will taste a slight chemical sunscreen flavor if you accidentally lick your lips or get too much mouth moisture on it. It’s not the most unpleasant or offensive flavor though, and it goes away pretty quickly. This seems to be normal with most sunscreen lip balms with SPF this high that I’ve tried in the past.

The balm is comfortable and shiny and works well. Lasts pretty long as long as you're not eating etc. I find myself not using it because if any gets in my mouth the sunscreen taste is overpowering and difficult to get rid of, so I probably will not repurchase.

My daughter is a fishing guide and is on the water in harsh conditions all year. Her poor lips were getting chapped and sunburned quite bad so I bought her the Supergoop lip balm based on online reviews. She loves the lip balm and her lips look so much better with the protection.

I am sure it's good for your lips but it has a bitter aftertaste. I am sure this is due to the SPF sunscreen.
