But also, works great to keep dogs out of the room if the room also is where the cat poops!This one has 4 settings you can put the grommet. On the largest setting it's good for medium/large dogs.I know that the product says its good to keep kids out of rooms but beware - As soon as your kid is crafty enough to climb out of things or open doors is when they'll figure this out.It's not a lock - literally just places the grommet into the side of the door frame register thingy... It catches there but it doesn't lock. Our child is old enough now to place it or remove it. I wouldn't trust any kid that walks to not figure this out.
