Review: How to make a 65 year old dishwasher look like new! - When we bought our home, the realtor said, you will want to replace that dishwasher for sure! I said no way, it is a 1960 Kitchen Aid! It uses " new technology " a heat pump rather than having a heating element! I have never had a single day in the past year that it hasn't been run. The skin on the front of my 1960 dishwasher now has a stainless color to match my other new appliances. It is thick, you will need a very fine, sharp blade to trim it out, it stays in place, what a bargain when you consider replacement cost of a dishwasher just because of the color, I don't think so! Great value and quality!

It was tricky cutting the top as my dishwasher has a bit of an arch. Would be very easy if your dishwasher has a straight top. The color is brighter than my other SS appliances, but its not next to them so no big deal (it's not as mirror-like as the photo indicates). Sticks well. Easy to cut.
