There is one part that I don't understand and it is a clear rubber tube over a strap and it's only on one side of the backpack. I wish I could find out what that is for. It holds a lot, carries a lot and I have not being able to make it fail on me yet. Is not the lightest but not really heavy as others i tried before. For the price, I think it has being a really strong piece of equipment. It has travel over hard trails with lots of obstacles, have gone to the airport and hold strong. Has traveled a while with me not taking good care of it on purpose and it has not disappointed me a bit. It is a little longer on the torso size for me but I manage to make it work with the adjustments it has. It fits a lot of gear and carried without effort.
