Bright!
Very much an improvement to the broken ones that were in my TV. No issues to speak of with installation. They function as they should. I'm glad the plastic pieces are already glued onto them as that saves me a lot of trouble.

It worked!
Instead of throwing away my 55" LG TV that is 9 years old, I figured I'd pay $22 for these back lights and see if I could rescue the TV from a flashing picture fault. Watched lots of YouTube on how to take apart the TV. I have never tried something like this, but I figured it would entertain me and give me something to do for a few dollars. I also purchased a backlight tester, but I'm not sure if it was needed. The one benefit of a tester is that once you install the new backlights, you can test that all the lights work, before putting the TV back together again. Disassembly/assembly was relatively simple, especially if you follow instructions from the youtubers. NOTE: keep track of your screws. Bottom line, it worked. I now have a working TV again.

Not blinking anymore
Get 2 large suction cups, watch a youtube video, disassemble, replace strips, get blinded by the light, reassemble and remember which screws go where. Connect everything and discover you have a red vertical line ... Good thing it was demoted to a garage TV.4 stars for unknown longevity.

Worked great. Easy repair. Time will obviously tell as far as quality but initial feelings are great.

Brought my 55" LG back to life!
I just installed these today and they work like a dream. Easy to install! So bright. It could be my imagination but the image quality almost seems better than it was.

Installed and picture is bright but blinks
Received bad led so now they bright and blink. Main board replacement still blinks all boards replaced still blinks tested both led + grounded to chassis and voltage within range for each except led when testing led side. Confirmed all plugged in properly and still blinking. Would not chance buying these again

Tv still working!
These fit my parents tv perfectly. I did the install myself and it was easy. I bought these strips about two months ago and they’re doing great.
