This thing is wonderful! I have a low cervix so I can’t wear tampons comfortably. This has been a life saver especially for the summertime. I can now swim when I’m actively bleeding, and don’t have to wear a thick pad when it’s super hot outside. It’s so comfortable I don’t even feel it in there. It self empties when you use the bathroom so you don’t have to take it out every 4-6 hours like a tampon. I’ve saved so much money, not having to buy period products anymore! The only thing I stay stocked up on now is panty liners, because occasionally after you’ve used the bathroom it can leak slightly from where it emptied and some was still left inside. Can’t rave about this thing enough, I’ve put all of my girlfriends on to this product and not one of them have anything negative to say about it! It also comes with a cute convenient pouch to keep it in, in between cycles. It’s easy to put in because the material is flexible, and real easy to take out because of the “string” attached, so you don’t have to go digging like you do with other cups. It forms to your body so its not just some solid thing in there making you uncomfortable. The material is super soft and the cup part is so comfortably thin and the quality is great, honestly I think this thing could last a lifetime, and you’d probably never need to replace it if you didn't want to. Such a great product!

I have been using the Pixie Disk for the past 2 years and it has been a real life changer! I recommend it to all of my friends and anyone who will listen, lol! For a little more money upfront, I have saved hundreds of dollars that I would have spent on tampons. Once you learn how to insert it properly and sanitize it, its very easy! I leave it in all day and don't have to worry about forgetting to pack more tampons for the day, because it self empties when you use the restroom. It has made managing my period a lot easier, and it's made from medical grade silicone so I feel more comfortable about putting that in my body rather than cotton soaked with pesticides. My disk did rip recently during cleaning (which could be expected after using it solely for 2 years) but I activated the warranty when I originally bought it, so I contacted the Pixie team through their website. They immediately reached out to me that same day and once I sent them my order number, they shipped me a replacement disk! If you are trying to decide whether to order it or not, give it a chance! There is a small learning curve so take it out in the shower to begin with, but if I can figure it out, so can you! :)

I just finished my cycle and let me tell you, my life is CHANGED. At first, I was quite scared to try the disc just because it was unfamiliar with it and because I was scared it would hurt or would not work properly, however, im glad I got over that fear. First of all, I love how the disc comes with extra items like feminine wipes and lube and of course, the case. It kind of forces you to get to know your body better as you’re putting it in a certain way and I like how as opposed to tampons, it won’t cause TSS and only have to basically change it out twice in a day. I never felt it and it never leaked. Another plus was the string, which made it easier to pull out. It has definitely made me feel better about my period and somehow made it feel lighter and shorter? I have heard the customer service is also great from this company. So 10/10 experience. It is also great for the environment and cost effective on the long run as you don’t have to spend any more money on menstrual products. Truly such a great innovation, I LOVE IT!! and if you’re scared just as I was, just know that sometimes we have to get out of a comfort zone to get to a better place :)

I’ve been an avid menstrual cup user for years. I like the ease, convenience, and cost effectiveness of it. I heard about the disc and wanted to try instantly. So, I ordered this one and it came in a little kit with wipes, instructions, the disc, etc. After watching videos on how to properly use it, I found myself having the most difficult time. I tried to use this over the course of two periods to try to give it a fair shot, but I think this one is not for me. I can definitely see the appeal of it, but for now, I will be sticking to the cup.

~Warning period talk~ Update*began officially putting this bad boy2the test, auto dump is literally perfect with this diac ,couldn't ask for better. As a person w/super heavy flow,ie:using a box of super in 2 to 3days plus a box of reg per period, this disc went thru a full bodied ,normally waking up in a red pool of a bed with tampon and pads , Night with no leaks . Went to bed about 11,woke up at 9 am for reference . About 2hours later I used bathroom and auto dumped what seemed a very full cup ,so like I said HEAVY,so no leaks after a night like that im amazed . If ur like me and have tried cups but don't like the suction,odd full sensation or have sensitivity issues in that area when it comes to cups and disc's having odd lines and stuff ,this is the perfect disc I don't feel anything ,no weirdness ,no full heavy feeling or uncomfortable suction feeling . Took me all of 1 try 2 get this in perfect position and I've used cups disc's etc in the past but I literally ripped the stem off my last one getting it out lol so I haven't used one in awhile but like I said I do have experience but I think even if u don't that you'll be able to get this baby just right pretty quickly. You also can remove the string part as with most disc's, I do prefer to leave mine the one thing I do wish they would add like a finger loop at the end instead of just the little ball gripper type things , if use ever seen like those rubber finger slappers,or a yoyo, and know what type of rubber finger loop im talking about ,that's would literally make this the perfect disc,far as Ik though no maker has that though lol maybe I can tie it though and make my own. Highly highly highly recommend. .So i havent officially tested the productnof yk what im saying but out of the box and pre-use trials...this disc has such a big bowl(not sure what else2call it) that i feel pretty confident it could go a full 8hrs ,at the least. Generally Im able2auto dump qith such products so will lyk how that is with this lil guy in an update. There is a nice firm lip as advertised , love that , super silky soft great material used. U can tell alot of thought went into this, there are no awkward grooves or edges creases etc. If ur like me& that type of thing bothers u youll appreciate that , ik i do, so im not qorried about any type of weird scraping rubbing etc feelings from this disc. Overall excited to use . I also like that it came with a ton of lil sample packs of soap and things to use qith the disc and that this company is eco conscious is a win n my book . Will be considering the steamer/steralizer to accompany this lil guy in my period arsenalal.

I previously got the two pack of shordy disks (small and large/regular) and i quickly realized the larger one was better for my higher cervix.. well one er trip later I realized I probably shouldn’t have gotten too confident and cut the removal stem off :) so for this cycle I decided to invest a little bit more on a good disk (again, with a stem) because I did have a good experience when I found the right size before I cut off the stem and it got stuck 🤣. I ordered the medium size because I truly have a light flow but again, my cervix is a bit high and I have had a baby, but the reviews made the large one look a lot bigger. Unfortunately I think it’s just about the same size as the small shordy (pictured side by side) and I think this is going to have the exact same problem as my last. Update!! No, the medium wasn’t the perfect fit, but Pixie customer service is absolutely wonderful and they are sending me a larger one. I will update next cycle when I try that one out! I will say, I really like the multiple “air” holes around the rim. I felt like my last brand had some sort of suction. Of course this is wonderful peace of mind since the previous accident I made. The stem is also very sturdy so I’m not scared that it would break or anything like that with regular use. This one is much easier to remove. I also really like that the “cup” part is super soft, as the rim is firm and a bit thicker than my last disk. All in all, I do really like the brand. I wish all brands would use the same measurements . Going from disposable menstrual supplies like pads and tampons to something like this, it’s a little hard to understand the measurements of the body parts you can’t see. It’s all trial and error. Pixie definitely makes this process less stressful by providing the best customer care.

I got the small pixie disc, which at first was too small and leaking, so they sent me a medium for free after contacting them :) Keep in mind if you don't specify the color you will get a random color. The medium works much better for me so far, even though it looks only slightly smaller than the hello disc (which didn't work for me at all, ouchie) It's softer and more ergonomic, almost? Anyway, if you're thinking about it, don't be scared, this is a good company that will try to make you happy if it doesn't work out at first.

I LOVE using a menstrual disc instead of disposable period products. It is comfortable, and lasts much longer. The only issue is that it is hard to change when you are at work or in a public restroom, as there isn't a good way to remove it without some sort of mess, so keep that in mind. However, it can last up to 12 hours, so you might not have to worry about it at work.

I’ve got endometriosis and adenomyosis, and I’ve struggled with horrendously heavy periods since I was 14. I finally found my perfect period protection just in time for my last 3 periods, and then I hit menopause. Sod’s law! The disc is made of beautifully silky, soft silicone, with a thicker rim to help it keep its shape and stay in place. I used an applicator to insert it because I’ve got a very retroverted uterus and I found it tricky to get the back edge of the disc past my cervix and into the right position. Once I’d worked that out, using the disc was a breeze… no risk of it getting stuck because it doesn’t use suction to stay in place, unlike menstrual cups. Autodumping made it convenient for work, days and nights out etc because it means you can empty the disc without removing it. Removal is simple and stress free with the soft, comfortable stem, and the capacity of the large size was more than a match for my heaviest days. I had no leaks at all, even when riding my young, sharp Hanoverian mare, with lots of spooking, broncing, bucking and general dumblood fun and games. If it can cope with that, it can cope with anything! The colours are great. I got the navy blue large size and the dark green small one, and they come in attractive, zip up cloth pouches with sachets of lube, wet wipes and disc and cup wash included. Being able to have sex with the disc in place is a bonus too, just make sure you empty it first to avoid leaks, and obviously clean the disc thoroughly afterwards. Thank you Pixie, you’ve got a wonder product here. I’m so glad that younger women have Pixie Disc as an option because it’s easy to use, convenient, effective and comfortable, and it looks great too.

After hearing about all the metals & arsenic in tampons and sanitary pads, I wanted to find a new product to use which didn't affect my hormones. After not getting along with a menstrual cup years ago - I found this disc and Its brilliant! In my personal experience, it's the perfect size, I can't feel it at all, it's easy to insert and empty. Not to mention the cute little baggy it comes with and all the necessary cleaning accessories/sachets. My only gripe is that it can leak a little when using the loo, however this is easily fixed by just pushing it up further behind your pubic bone.

More comfortable then a menstrual cup. Hardly noticable. Just wish the applicator came with it. It's a bit pricey for a piece of plastic. I use a different brand applicator that was half the cost, but as far as the disc goes, no leaks or complaints
