Display DPC18/C010 for BBS01B BBS02B BBSHD M400, M500 Mid Motor Pedal Assist eBike Computer Display with Automatic Backlight UART/CAN Protocol

I purchased this to replace the stock display on my Rambo savage mid drive ebike. After a few years and 600 miles, the stock controller detent button disintegrated. After calling Rambo for replacement, they said the replacement would be $80 and basically the same unit. They told me there was no upgrade available for my bike. Then I found this and did the research and found out it would fit my bike. It was a perfect fit. I am very happy with this unit. It has many more features than the stock unit and is very easy to install. You must have a five pin connector. There are many videos online to see how to set it up and to go through the changes. I would definitely recommend this.

I wanter the 9 level model to replace the 5 level on that came with my bafang 750 watt motor and it works really well with finer control to pick the speed I want to travel more precicely

This replaced my controller on my Apex QuietKat bike. When using it, it didn't allow for going slow. When you peddled one time, it would take off. This replaced their controller. I can now pedal and use the assist in whatever speed I choose to use. Not essentially almost wide open when using the Quietkat controller. Manageable now.

I purchased this as a replacement for the same model on my DYI Bafang BBSHD ebike, which I was very happy with until the switch unit failed. The functionality is extensive and very usable. It sure would be nice if rather than being hard-wired, a plug was provided so that replacement switch units could be purchased rather than having to buy the whole package. My display component was still working fine, I disassembled the switch to see if I could fix it, but it was essentially worn out after 3 years of usage. The microswitch associated with the "-" PAS plastic tab was only working intermittently, and the plastic tab contacting the microswitch button was a little sprung and above the level of the switch housing. I tried using some spray contact cleaner on the switch, which seemed to help for a while... for about one 1 hour bike ride, but then it went spastic again on my next ride, mostly sticking in "walk" mode. I disabled "walk mode" and was able to complete my trip using the throttle, but that was not ideal.

Simple good replacement for factory supplied Bafang e-bike motor, DPC-18 display module. Previous one I owned failed in HEAVY rain storm and replacement was a plug and play. Might buy a spare because when it fails you are not going anywhere.

Unlocked display works perfectly

I had bought a Accolmile Cola bear 29 inch.. Brand new. It came with Bafang motor , but a so called intelligent display. When I first bought the bike it did not power up. Then it just stared working. I thought I had a cool Bike, Few days later the not so intelligent display again diddnt power up. I REPLACED IT WITH THIS UNIT.. Not only did it power up. Its simple to use and the Ebike has much more speed..It also has the usb to chaege my phone or bluetooth speaker. I WOULD REPLACE THE INTELLIGENT WITH THIS WORKING OR NOT,,,AND it intsalls easy.. Not like the stupid one ... GREAT CHOICEE..

My 48V batteries fully charged is showing 68% charged on the DPC18. The DPC18 seems to be calibrated for a 52V battery as 68% would correspond to the voltage of a fully charge 48V battery in the scale of a 52V battery. There's no way to change that in the setting.

Very much plug and play, I like the ability to configure multiple parameters, such as 9, or 5 ranges of boost, trip, time, and parameters on the display. It also calculated the range and speed fairly accurately. Be prepared to search online for the installation documents. It was easy to find the PDF online, but the seller should provide a link. Same thing for the manual. Two presses on the [Info] button gets you into the menu. Overall an impressive upgrade from my basic controller. I settled on the 5 ranges of assist. A couple hours to install and set it up.

Original failed this replacement just plugs in and works. You do need to down load set up instructions from Bafang.us website 👍
