Most Melatonin pills contain huge doses, which makes it last, but makes you wake up feeling groggy. This is a much smaller dose, but time released. It keeps you asleep, but you don't wake groggy.

The best. It's low dose so I don't have nightmares or feel hungover the next day. The time release keeps me asleep all night, too. I'll take this when I need to sleep but I don't want to stop and GO to sleep. So I'll push through the first drowsy wave. (I know, I know. Why take it if I'm going to fight through it? Because I have ADHD and don't always make the most thought out choices!) But another wave of drowsiness comes along and I'll give up and go to sleep. Then I wake up the next day refreshed and feeling good because I didn't stay up too late and slept through the whole night.

Works well for me, and I've had a lot of sleep problems. I don't use it every day, but when I'm having falling out stay asleep this helps.

I've tried many forms of melatonin before but never experienced any improvement with my middle insomnia. I haven't taken this product very long but it seems there is some improvement...time will tell

Sometimes less is more, and that seems to be the case with Melatonin. Apparently you can overload your body with too much Melatonin, leading to poor sleep results. My wife and I have both had good results with this dosing over a period of a couple of months.

This one is pretty good, but not quite excellent. We are using this one for our sweet daughter who really struggles with sleep. We love the studies showing that low dose is often more effective, and extended release is the way to go in the world of melatonin. We decided to try this one first because it was smaller than some other pills, and therefore easier for her to swallow. We have had pretty good results but not life changing. This is most likely because the level of anxiety that is preventing sleep is profound. The good news is that these pills are pretty small. they are just about the size of an advil tablet. This makes them easy for most people, and a decent amount of children to swallow. This is great news in my view. They do seem to have a decent extended release, but the real pro here is that it is just enough that she wakes up without a melatonin groggy feeling or hangover. It is always a massive bummer to wake up not feeling refreshed, and when you are dealing with sleep issues this is the worst as you are already tired - you don't need to add to it. For us this keeps her sound asleep for about 5 to 6 hours. No, that doesn't sound like much, but that amount of time has been life changing for us. We like this one, but again...it doesn't seem to have enough of an extended release for our needs. For now we will continue to use this one as it is a significant change for us, and we are grateful for that!

I read tons of reviews before I bought this, you all were SO RIGHT! I was taking higher dose's of melatonin 3-9mg.... it only put me to sleep but it gave me nightmares, I'd wake up between 2-3am and not be able to go back to sleep, and worst of all I was feeling depressed after taking it which is really out of character for me. After reading many of these reviews and studying melatonin dosing some more I realized that a smaller dose is way better! With this extended release no longer wake up at 2am...I fall asleep peacefully within a half hour of taking them & have positive dreams. I have zero depression from them and I'm beyond grateful to not be taking a dose so high that it's causing me harm. I will never go back to taking full strength melatonin. In this case more milligrams did not equal better or longer sleep. I'm beyond satisfied with this company and I will have these tablets on subscription. Grateful for all the people who took the time to review, yall saved my sanity and sleep cycle

Seems to be giving me 6 hours of sleep -as it states is the timed release duration.
