Very disappointed to open this package today and find these bookends. First, both sides of the bookends have cracks in the stones despite being relatively well packaged. Secondly, even if they weren't cracked, they are far less interesting and impressive than other natural geode/agate bookends I've purchased. I am going to give this company a second chance and will update tomorrow when I get that replacement bookends if they are any better. if not, I'll just send them both back and update this review accordingly. Update: Got second two bookends today. Amazingly, these two are even worse than the first two. While the scratches/cracks on these stones are less noticeable than the first two, there are several other problems compelling me to return them. First, one of the two bookends is even and wobbly. They placed the bottom bumper on the curvy side of the stone causing this 4+ pound stone to wobble when touched. Unsafe! Second, the colors in this geode are nothing close to what I expected. This was supposed to be a gray stone but the one I received was a milky brown and blue mess. Obviously, some deviation is expected, but I wouldn't have paid $10 for the stones I received here. Third, while less noticeable than the first bookends, these also have significant scratches on the display (polished) side of the stone. Unacceptable for $20 let alone $70. They shipped fast and I really wanted to like these bookends as the ones in some other (customers?) pictures look beautiful. Mine are unattractive looking, damaged, and unsafe. Will have to return. So disappointing!

I've given this item 5 stars because the geode is truly beautiful BUT I had actually hoped that the set I received would be similar in color. Unfortunately, the little bit of green that's in it is not nearly as vibrant as the one pictured. I wasn't expecting it to be the same, but I had hoped that there would be a greater similarity. However, I do love it and will be happy to display it in my home!

These are pretty. And they do have the little non-skid dots on the bottom. I cannot find fault with the product. The price was reasonable. Like other comments, I thought they'd be bigger. I realize the description says, product may not look like the displayed photo, however, having some idea how tall they might be would have been helpful. And I'm slightly disappointed in the color. I'll keep them but not sure I'll order more.
