Quality Product. I bought several Japanese Screens from other sellers over the years. The first time the screens were heavy and nice. The second time the screens were thin and weak. These screens are heavy with nice heavy paper cloth cover backing. I love them. The seller was terrific. They contacted me to double check my order. The packaging was perfect using cardboard boxes with added protection inside. If it wasn't for the extra protection my order would have been damaged by the shipping company. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

I bought this Shoji Room Divider because I needed some kind of barrier behind my couch to keep my 1.5 year safer (I have a raised ranch and there's a steep drop behind my couch). Obviously, this isn't a perfect solution but with supervision, it does the trick, and there aren't a lot of other options that don't involve a major permanent home modification. So the price is pretty good compared to other similar options and considering it has 5 panels. There was no option to pick the color when buying and no one reached out to me to see what color I wanted so I wasn't quite sure what I'd get, but I ended up getting black like I wanted. The packaging seemed decent, however my box was fairly damaged so I wasn't surprised to find some damage to the product when I opened it. It's a pretty sturdy wood with a thick paper background and looks super pretty! I love how it looks in my livingroom. The panels were attached already so there was no additional assembly required. The paper was intact, but some of the thin wood portions were separated/broken and required fixing (wasn't hard to do with a little glue, but who wants to have to fix a brand new pricy product?). I'm giving this 4 stars because I do really like the product, but it came broken and I'm not a huge fan of the fact that the back of the panels are just a sheet of white with no black grids... aesthetically it's kind of ugly from the back but it has served its purpose for me. If you are looking for a decorative room divider, I definitely think this is a good option. Just don't be too surprised if you have to do a little DIY repair on it before setting it up. Wasn’t sure how much coverage this had although I had seen the reviews and videos along with pictures people had posted. I have to say because of the reviews I felt pretty confident when I ordered this knowing that it would probably have more coverage then I needed however I knew that I could always shorten it but bending the dividers more like an accordion if need be. I love that this is an item I can take with me wherever we move and it can be used for so many different things. Whether it its for a room divider or just a decoration piece it has great potential to work in almost any environment and it’s so well made and not heavy at all. So I have to say for those who read reviews and make a large portion of their decisions because of them, the reviews on this are spot-on. I really enjoy this product and recommend if this is what you are looking for, you wont’ be disappointed.

Very happy with my purchase. Purchased for my office now that I'm sharing space with my kids who are doing virtual schooling. I needed to separate my workspace from theirs so we didn't interrupt each others video conference calls. This room divider did just the trick. It arrived earlier than expected and in perfect condition. It's sturdy enough that I'm not worried about it falling, but it's also light enough that we can move it to where we need it anytime. The screen is opaque but allows light so it doesn't darken the space which is also nice. I'm so thrilled with this item for the price that I purchased a 2nd one for my husband's workspace. Another nice touch is that the hinges go both ways. Each panel can be folded forward or backward depending on the needs of your space. The configuration is not limited to the direction of the hinges. Note: after placing your order, send a note to the seller via the Amazon "contact seller" option to let the seller know the wood color you prefer. The seller will confirm via email within hours so you know you're getting what you want.

these panels are amazing!! they add elegance to any room and they come together right out the box. I needed to separate a small part of my dining room in my apt because of an unsightly view as my front door opened and it works wonders. I got a six panel but i could have gotten 7. you can easily manipulate the panels to twist and turn the way you want it. cons: not the sturdiest but have it do have some weight to it, it will not fall with the slightest wind blowing.
