The clock is amazing! Well constructed and beautiful. It was packed so carefully. Easy to put in batteries. Although I confess, at first I accidentally put in just one battery and wondered for a moment why it didn't work.. I totally love it. It replaces a clock I had over forty years and I am so glad the old clock stopped working because this clock is elegant in its design ,simply beautiful. It performs well and easy for my old eyes to see from across the room. In short, I love, love , love it. Thank you so much for this product. I looked for over three weeks and this clock was affordable and perfect!

This clock came very well packaged, wrapped securely, boxed, and then inside another box to prevent damage. The instructions were very clear and my husband had it put together in about 15 minutes. This replaced an all wood schoolhouse clock we had for 47 years. It needed maintenance once in 2002 and continued to work well up to three days ago. I was looking for something similar for the space I had and this was just a bit smaller. This clock is described as “real solid wood” but to my dismay the only wood is on the back that holds the battery. I was very disappointed as the front of the clock is faux wood grain plastic. We decided to keep the clock, it is very nice looking, but I felt duped that it was not wood on the front. Very well made, looks great in the same space, but be aware that the entire clock is not wood. UPDATE: 9/18/25…Earlier this week I received an email from Eric the owner of this shop and he offered me a full refund on my clock because it was advertised as “solid wood” but I felt it was not as I stated above. I will take his word on the product and updated my review to 5 stars. That is because the clock is beautiful, works well, and looks great on my wall. I spent a lot of time looking for a replacement and chose this schoolhouse clock. It fit all the requirements I was looking for. I declined Eric’s offer for a refund even though I was told I did not need to return the clock. I will also state that the 5 stars are for exceptional customer service because he reached out. So if you are looking for a beautiful schoolhouse clock this is the one to purchase. Thank you, Eric, for putting your customers first.

Easy to hang. Easy to read. Worked perfectly without any tweaking. Pendulum is driven by a separate battery … it’s just cosmetic. Accurate time keeping. Very quiet … I use it in my music listening room, so this is a big plus.

Looks good but looks can be deceiving. Tricky to dislodge the pendulum arm. Be careful not to pull out and too hard. Look for little pin like nodule holding it in place. It says wood. May well be. Not very heavy. But color is rich. Very easy on the eyes. Classic confirmation. Real easy to read numerals. A bit pricey. But if it lives up to its advance billing….worth it. Again…time will tell. Too soon to judge accuracy. Probably a very good choice to gift. Adds warmth to the house.

I bought this clock to replace the one I received from Fedex as a safety award, it is very similar to it and we have been quite used to seeing it in a certain spot. This clock is an excellent replacement. It looks very well made. It looks elegant and takes the place of the old one perfectly. So far it’s perfect time.”

This is nice looking clock. Quiet. Pendulum is difficult to hang correctly so that it swings. After removing the plastic covering on the pendulum, the finish was dull and splotchy. Poorly assembled. When adjusting the time the whole box kept moving. Pendulum will no longer swing correctly. Price not worth the hassles.

The clock came well packaged. Have to be careful hanging it up so that the pendulum stays in place. So far clock and pendulum working well.

The body is all wood and well built. Keeps time well. Needed to adjust the pendulum before it worked, but it does come with info explaining this.

I love the clock but I have an issue with the pendulum not working and I have tried several time to fix it to no avail. I cannot return it as I an not mobile and it would be too much trouble for me. Therefore I am stuck with a defective product. Any suggestions on what I can do to make the pendulum work.
