Review: Great Little Adapter, Huge Sound Difference - I picked this up to improve the audio quality from my PC to my Samsung HW-S50B soundbar. Bluetooth just wasn’t cutting it, the sound was hollow, lacked bass, and didn't use the center speaker at all. This inexpensive adapter completely changed that. It was plug-and-play on Windows, I just had to switch my sound output from Bluetooth to SPDIF and I was good to go. Now I get clean, full sound with strong bass and much better center channel clarity. Movies and music actually sound how they should. Build quality feels solid too, no signal dropouts, and the optical connector fits snugly into my soundbar. The price is excellent for what it delivers, especially compared to some of the overpriced alternatives out there. If you're looking to squeeze better sound out of a setup that supports optical input, this adapter is a no-brainer over Bluetooth.
