good product
I am totally happy with my purchase. I did not have any packaging issues or pods sticking together. Comes in cardboard and not plastic so this is much less waste. So far, I am happy with the outcome of my laundry. I've not had anything super gross to wash recently but it has taken out sauce, dirt, and vomited pizza (sorry, but true). It says to use 2 pods on large loads but 1 pod has worked so far. I have the unscented so it's not a 'clean laundry' smell but does not smell at all. Takes dog smell out of dog blankets.

Fantastic!
I wanted to reduce my plastic use so I ordered this product. After using it for about 1/2 year, I must say that I love it! With just one "drop" I can do a full load and it comes out clean and lightly scented, but in a good way. I am allergic to all the "commercial" detergent that have chemical smells that just about kill you. I will order again, once I get through the 2 boxes I got right now. I highly recommend this great detergent packaged in an environmentally friendly way. The "drops" dissolve in the water, so there is nothing to throw out, except the cardboard box they come in which is recyclable at the landfill. Thank you for making this great product!

These tiny pods really get the laundry clean
I have been using this detergent for a couple of years now and my laundry is CLEAN. Even the workout clothes, that 'ferment' in the laundry basket until laundry day, come out clean. I use the unscented because my husband has sensitive skin, so the laundered clothes are not 'masked' with fragrance, they are clean and FRESH with just one pod per medium load. The whites are still white. I wash them in hot water with a single pod in an extra large load (sheets, towels, wash cloths, gym sweat mop towels). They also are clean, white and fresh. I started using this product because there is no plastic packaging and was prepared to compromise a little, but there was no need - this product works as well as anything that I have used in my adult life (we're talking 48 years of product comparison here), so I plan to use these pods until clothes are invented that require no washing.

Works beautifully, even for sensitive skin
This has worked extremely well for my family, even for my young daughter with sensitive skin. It's also zero waste, so long as you ask Amazon before they ship it to skip any extra packaging. This was one of the few zero-waste swaps I've made that was an absolute home run. I was a little concerned based on other reviews, but I have not run into the issues a few mentioned. This may be because I live in a dry location (my pods have never stuck together) and my washing machine is in the house, so it never gets cold enough for the pods to turn milky. I also find it gets the gunk out - even out of my cleaning towels. Great product.

Good alternative if you’re into zero waste
I really like the Dropps sensitive skin and baby detergent. This is the first time I have used it. I wanted to find a zero waste product that didn’t contribute to the horrible plastic waste problem the world is having. This meets and exceeds my expectations. It has superior cleaning and stain removal in all temperatures of water. The only drawback is that it comes in pods and the material for the pod turns into a small gooey blob that can stick to the clothes in the load. I use a small amount of borax for most loads. I dissolve the borax and a pod in a cup of boiling water, stir it with a fork and remove the goo from the pod with the fork. I then dump the hot water with the borax and soap in it into the drum of my front loader and turn it on. For small loads I do the same process with the hot water to dissolve the pod. I then measure half of the water and soap and pour that into the washer drum. I save the second half of the dissolved detergent in water for another small load. It saves just fine in a small closed container for later use. This is a good product.

Love this
Im a nurse, my husband is a mechanic with one soccer playing kid and one toddler. I was worried my husband would notice the change but I wanted to get us onto well rated EWG products... we LOVE these. Have noticed no difference in wash quality (need warm water to melt the pod tho). We use unscented baby pods with lavender/eucalyptus softener, it's wonderful light smell. Regular laundry scents overwhelm me now, I can’t believe I was desensitized to how strong they were! I’m just now coming to buy our second box, 6 months later. We are spending less on this than our previous mainstream option (the cost was my second concern). I have never felt the need for two pods like we had with other soaps and we jammm pack our washer. Can’t say enough about this product.

Doesn’t dissolve in short cycles.
It cleans clothes fine. Newer front loader. If you use a short cycle, 20 min, the pods do not dissolve at all and stick to the clothes. So had to wash again to wash out the pod outer shell. Our water (in FL) is filtered and not hard so it creates a nice foam, that dissolves and rinses fully, if in full wash (45+ min), hot or cold water. But if you use a short wash, the pods stick to clothes and doesn’t dissolve. Pods has too much detergent if doing a small wash. They do a great job, just one pod, on regular sized or large wash! We want to support being green, but DROPPS has to figure out this issue of it not dissolving in shorter wash cycles, and hence sticking to clothes. Earth friendly folks want natural detergent avoiding plastic bottles, but also avoiding wasting water (hence short wash cycles). You can do it DROPPS!

Earth friendly yes
I’m so excited about these laundry pods! Not only does it allow me to cut out more single use plastic from my life but they are cost effective and clean my clothes well! My family all have sensitive skin and a lot of detergents are too much. These are perfect. I even use them for my cloth diapers. Granted my baby is still in the milk stage so number 2’s are mild. The real test will be once food food is introduced.
