I love ginseng because it is great for increasing energy without any jitters or tolerance developing. For that, it's actually better than caffeine. And what I appreciate the MOST about it is that it actually gives me more energy to combat adrenal fatigue/chronic fatigue. Caffeine has never been able to do much for that, and I quickly develop a tolerance to it that involves needing to take larger doses over time. This particular brand goes to work fast, is very effective, and also has a great value in terms of price per pill. In about a half-hour after taking it, I feel full of energy and bounce (did I mention the mood enhancement? Ginseng does that too lol). I can see some folks having issues with swallowing it though, as the pills are very flat and pressed as opposed to being capsuled. So they can easily stick to your tongue, throat, etc., and since they're so small, it can easily become a choking hazard. However, anyone with normal abilities to swallow and normal amounts of saliva shouldn't have any problems with it.

I have depression (diagnosed) and I'm pretty sure I have ADD. This has helped me feel energetic and a bit more focused than usual. I will be keeping this in my tool kit for mental agility. Update: I've been adding a little more than the recommended dose because I have been hearing about the nootropic qualities of Ginseng and I gotta say wow. Find out what dose works for you but I feel so energetic and motivated to do even the most mondain and hated tasks now. I feel limitless. This thing changed my life.

Before I heard about the supplement N-Acetyl Cysteine, I had heard that ginseng may help reduce the hangover effect of drinking too much alcohol. It is not a cure, but I do feel that it does help reduce the after effects of having several drinks. I have purchased this supplement ten times now from Amazon and will continue to take it along with a NAC capsule before a night out. One word of advice... after taking one of these capsules, drink at least four to six ounces of water. If I just swallow one of these with a sip or two of water, within five minutes I almost always have a powdery cough exhaling some of the ginseng which is not pleasant. I guess it needs extra water to make sure it is washed all the way down and has enough water to properly absorb.
