I just recently got my little kitten Mango about 2 months ago. His foster mom had given me a little bag of food to ween him onto whatever other kitten food I’d give him. Thankfully I got this bag first. So I weened him onto this food with little to no issues!Unfortunately, once the bag was running low, we decided to see if we could try a brand that we found in a store that seemed to be a very high quality brand based on reviews! So we started weening him on to this new food and got no further than adding a tablespoon of that new food to his bowl. He liked it but it gave him uncontrollable stools. The first day we tried getting him onto the new food we had poop ALL OVER!! I’m talking the floors, the book shelf, the hamper, EVEN THE LAPTOPS! After the 4th day of things getting no better with just this small addition of food I decided my kittens booty has had enough and so have I with all this cleaning.I started just feeding him this food again today and thankfully that fixed his poops right up! He loves this food so much too, I get a bright and early 8 am wake up call to remind me to feed him. He loves this food and even when I give him wet food he does this adorable thing where he bites the wet food, bites the dry food, and eats it that way. I may consider mixing them for him at some point, but I think he likes his little system haha.All in all I think this brand is great and the quality and fantastic as well. Of course all kittens are different, but this one is MANGO APPROVED!

Kittens won't eat it but the feral cats love it. Too expensive for that but it was worth a try - good ingredients and nutritious for the wee ones.

My kitten loves this food and has thrived on it. It is highly rated and has a fantastic nutritional profile and great ingredients. He was 9 weeks and weighed in at 2 lbs at the vet when I brought him home and started feeding this to him. At his 13 week visit, he was over 4 pounds and the vet said he was just perfect. Now at 4 months old he is about 6 lbs. He is eating a combination of the instinct kitten wet and dry food with the bulk of his calories coming from the dry. The instinct web site has a really nice feeding calculator that has you select kitten/cat, weight, the particular instinct food, and the % wet and %dry you want to feed. It was very helpful to give a baseline and to let me know how much to increase as he grew.

Great product with good ingredients and nutrients for kitten. Smaller sized kibble than my previous brand, it's good, good calories, fat and protein level. My kitten eats it!
