Easy to use and a good product that aids pain relief, reasonably priced item.

I've only used the hot option and have found it doesn't last the full twenty minutes from one round of microwaving. The edges also get a lot hotter than the part that actually goes on the knee which makes it annoying to put on. And the writing on the pack goes on the inside which is confusing. It is not well shaped to fit a knee and the edges don't sit flush against the knee but rather they bobble up. The edges get much hotter than the part that actually sits on the knee which can get painful, I had to add some stuffing between one particular corner and my leg as it is super hot. But, it is very helpful for relieving pain and will become a big part of my pain relief system. I'd say it is great value for money and if you are in pain it will really help. I am very happy with this pack and would recommend it.

Solves the issue of using frozen veg on injuries! Wraps around the knee so it covers the sides, top and bottom as well as the kneecap (obviously!), easily secured in place with the 2 straps and adjustable. I guess my only issue would be after a few uses, when liquid inside is not frozen, sometimes you have to push it back into the different sections. I found the centre part for the knee cap was quite thin compared to the outer sections. I wouldn't say it's a huge problem as it's easily done.

If you leave them in the freezer for a few hours they are stiff when you get them out and don’t wrap very well and I find that you need something under the wrap to protect your skin or you get freezer burn. I wanted them as I had a total knee replacement and had a very swollen leg. They are ok and do a reasonable job but find that the top bit ( the knee part) is not as cold as the bit that goes under your leg. Certainly better than nothing and always useful to have but don’t expect too much. One good point is the Velcro fastenings.

The advice on this is good - 20 minutes. Also to allow it time in air temperature if too frozen. At onset of injury it helped me more than ibuprofen gel and prescribed painkillers with the pain. Good fit as I have large knee anyway. Would recommend to anyone with soft tissue damage.
