he Imam was asked a long question of which a part was: What is the opinion of the scholars regarding a man who is afflicted by a disease, and knows that if it should continue it would damage his life? The Imam Quoted the Hadith from Sahih Bukhari, the Prophet (S) said: "Allah has appointed a remedy for every disease He has sent down." Imam Ahmad reported on the authority of Usamah bin Shareek that the Prophet (S) said: "Allah has not made a disease without providing a remedy for it, with the exception of one disease, namely old age." This Applies to medicine for the heart, soul, and body. The well being of the servant's heart, is far more important than that of his body, for while the well being of his body enables him to lead a life that is free from illnesses in this world, that of the heart ensures him both a fortunate life in this world and eternal bliss in the next. About The Author Imam Ibnul Qayyim al-Jawziyyah was born into a scholarly and virtuous family in 691 AH/ 1292 A.D. At that time Damascus was a center of literature and thought. Many schools were located there and he studied and graduated under the protection, direction, and sponsorship of his father. He was particularly influenced by his Shaykh and teacher Imam Ibn Taymiyyah, and also by Ibn ash-Shirazi amongst others. Ibnul Qayyim al-Jawziyyah died in the city of Damascus the year 751 AH/1350 C.E. when he was scarcely 60 years old and was buried at the cemetery of Bab-al-Saghir, near the grave of his father - Rahimahuma Allah. I got the book with some printings issues
I ordered this book with hard back cover but got low quality back cover and also with printing mistakes there are some important pages i have to read but There is no written anything thing. I want to return it but There is no option for return

A true gem by Imam al-Qayyim and a must read for Muslims looking to get closer to their creator.
I expected nothing less from the student of the prominent Shaykh al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah. Ibn al-Qayyim articulates a meticulous and logical response to one who is afflicted with calamity (sins). He draws upon the Qur’an and prophetic tradition, however balances this with his own exposition and that of earlier scholars of Islam. I particularly enjoyed and appreciated the knowledge contained in the section of invocation. The various forms of invocation, times of invocation and conditions of invocation mentioned by Imam al-Qayyim are highly beneficial to learn and understand, especially for those who are sincerely trying to get closer to their creator. All in all this book most certainly sufficed as ‘The Sufficient Answer For The One Who Asked About The Remedial Cure’. I would recommend this book to any muslim looking to become closer to their creator.

Amazing Quality
Mashallah, this book arrived in excellent condition, was beautifully wrapped and packaged. Of course the book itself was amazing, Ibn Al-Qayyim truly is a wonder. May Allah have mercy on his souls and be pleased with him Ameen. Would recommend and would buy from here again, no complaints And the pages are also thick for those looking to highlight and use a pen within the book.

Excellent book: worth the money. I’m in love with reading it.
ما شاء الله, this is such a gem of a book. I fell in love with the writing of it. If you were to extract jummah kutbah, you’d be able to do so. But definitely recommend people to buy this and read it.
