Based on the relatively inexpensive price, I thought this vanity would be nice enough but have some flaws, but it's actually pretty amazing. Sturdy, well-designed, all pieces present and in perfect shape out of the box, with easy-to-follow instructions to put it together. Beautiful rich color. The fabric on the stool feels buttery soft. Nice details like floor protectors already on the bottoms of the 8 legs, and magnetic closures on the drop-front of the middle space to make sure it stays shut. The manufacturer must have paid attention to previous complaints about crappy packaging, because this thing was well protected in good packaging. Highly recommend!

Love it. Had my adult son put it together for me and it was easy to do. The table is a solid piece of furniture and very impressive. The photo doesn't do it justice. I bought this one rather than one where the mirrors are attached to the outside of the table because I'm short and I'd never be able to see myself in those mirrors. This one has the mirror on the inside of the top which sits the mirror lower for us shorties. The compartment is large and holds a ton of product. The drawers on the sides are a little on the narrow side but very deep. The stool that comes with it is very sturdy and comfortable. Says it holds 250 lbs but I'd say it could hold more than that. It's very well made and solid wood not composite. I'm extremely happy with the vanity set and would highly recommend it. I've never had or used a makeup table before (I'm 64) but putting makeup on it the bathroom and leaning over the sink isn't as easy as it used to be. Now I wonder how I ever lived without it. My routine has totally changed and become much easier now - get dressed, sit at makeup table and then I'm ready for my day. It did have a tiny mark on the front edge - I went over it with a sharpie and now you can't even tell where it was.

I love this vanity and while it's build-your-own furniture the quality is noticeably superior to Target or Ikea. The instructions are very clear and the top part with the drawers comes preassembled so you basically just have to put the legs on the vanity and on the stool. I probably could've assembled it completely on my own, but my husband was eager to help and I did find his help to be quite handy when I had to flip it rightside up. I do wish the stool was about a half an inch shorter, but the finish on the legs is so well done and they came with such nice gliders on the bottom I can't bring myself to shorten it - I just lean forward when I'm trying to look in the mirror so as to lower my head a smidge. I did go out to my local box hardware store and bought new drawer pulls so that it matches my bedroom set more closely - only an additional three dollars, extremely simple to do, and really finishes off the appearance of the vanity in my room. Rock solid, no wobbles, very sturdy and the finish is gorgeous. No rough edges or chips in the finish. The finish really truly is a dark walnut even though it does have a bit more of a darker cherry appearance on my computer screen.

I was surprised when I received this because it looks far better than you'd expect for this price. It was purchased to use as a desk for the laptop on the sunporch, & possibly for a vanity until I could find the right piece of furniture. But it's really OK to use for either, so I'm pleased with it. While not sturdy like a solid wood would be, you already know not to expect that, so handle with some care & I think it will serve its purpose. The assembly was a little awkward but it's the first piece of furniture that I've ever assembled, so you probably won't have any trouble. The appearance is not shabby, & the 2 drawers and storage are just deep enough to store plenty. Overall, I think it's a smart purchase for the $.

Love this vanity / desk as it can be used both ways. Was worried that I would need to "lift" it a bit as I read that taller people may need to in order to see into the mirror. At 5'7" it still works though I do push the mirror back all the way and have no problems with the mirror. It is very well made and the seat is more comfortable than expected.
