Bathroom Exhaust Fan for Wall and Super Quiet 4 In Window Exhaust Fan with O Ring White 80 CFM Bathroom Vent Fan

If you've issues with poop particles floating in the air in the bathroom and want a fairly easy through wall fan, this one works great with just a standard 4 inch vent cover on the exterior. I hardwired mine in to a switch on a new tiny house bathroom build. I'm happy with it, and I've spent thousands so far on this build. Sometimes the smallest things make me happy.

Exhaust fans work as needed and most importantly are quieter than previous models. We installed three.

I have a tiny bathroom in my apartment (5'x7'). Just remodeled it and put this fan into the space that was formerly a grated vent that automatically sucked the air out (and very poorly). This fan does a great job and even after a long, steamy shower, the mirrors don't fog. Also clears out other particular smells in a matter of minutes. I'm very happy with it, but not sure I'd put it into a large bathroom (over 60 sq feet). Then again, I have no way of testing what it might do in a larger bathroom, so read some more reviews if you have a larger bathroom.

They advertise motion sensor This doesn’t shut off after returning two smaller units I order the larger one after installing the motion sensor doesn’t So now I’m going to wire it direct and that’s a lot more work 🤨

Installed on an interior wall venting into a water closet. My options at my family cabin were extremely limited, I had to install a vent into a wall and it had to be small to fit above a medicine cabinet. This fit the bill. The nut did not work for me, as the wall I was going through was over 6" thick, luckily the cover pops off to expose 4 screw holes to fasten to the surface. The cable was also able to be routed through the back instead of the front/bottom, so I could wire in on the back side. The cable is just a short length of lamp cord, so you will need to install a plug, or in my case, I ran it into a junction box on the back end that I hardwired a switch in the bathroom to. Its not the most powerful thing in the world. Blowing vapor into it didn't seem to drag it forcefully through. I did run the shower as hot as possible for a while and closed the door, allowing the room to steam, and watched the exhaust and did see vapor come through, so it does move some air. So I wouldn't use it in a smoking room, but for a little extra help removing moisture from my small bathroom, it should work just fine.

Not what I expected. My bathroom is 6x7 and the exhaust vent(110 CFM)( is not powerful enough to take all the steam out. After a shower the mirror are very foggy. 1 out of 10. I like the way looks, but sound (sone 1) is kind of loud.

I was looking for something more quiet than powerful for this particular application and had hoped this was the answer, but this is not a quiet fan. It isn't loud because of poor construction or build quality, just the quantity of air that it moves creates a lot of noise. Here’s the good - it’s simple, seemingly well built, only makes fan noises (no rattles or whine) and wires directly to the 120v source of your choice. The bad? It’s way louder than advertised. The listing says .8 sones and 34 db in several places, but when I pulled out my trusty db meter and placed it 3-4 feet from the fan it registered 57-58db. Turning it off immediately drops the room ambient noise to the low 40s on the meter. Far too loud for my purposes unfortunately but would be fine in most bathrooms, just expect to hear it and hear it well!

I put this in a small basement bathroom to help with moisture. Easy install and works great. Thanks.
